Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.

The Lord said to me,“ Go now. Write on a tablet for the people of Judah what I am about to say. Also write it on a scroll. In days to come it will be a witness that lasts forever.

And now, go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever.

耶和華曰、以所得之默示、明書於簡、俾讀者疾趨將命、宣播四方、

耶和華告我曰、索大簡、以民間通行之文、書馬黑沙辣哈八數字。

猶大王約雅金、既焚斯卷、爾當復取一卷、如前所言錄之、奏猶大王約雅金曰、耶和華云、卷中有言巴比倫王必至、翦滅斯國、人民野獸、不得安居、爾不悅斯言、火焚其卷、故耶和華論猶大王約雅金云、雖有後嗣、不得繼大闢之位、棄尸於外、晝暴之、夜寒之。我必罰其罪、爰及子孫、臣僕、昔予有言、欲降災於耶路撒冷居民、猶大國人、而彼弗顧、今必使災速至。昔書一卷、為猶大王約雅金所焚、耶利米復取一卷、畀繕寫尼利亞子巴錄、使書耶利米諸言、一如疇昔、更增言詞、其義畧同。

當知季世、必有從欲者、戲云、

至於季世、爾遇艱辛、我所言之災、加乎爾身、斯時也、爾若歸爾上帝耶和華、而聽其命、

越至末期、耶和華殿宇之山、必超乎眾山之上、高出於層巒叠嶂間、異邦族類、無不來集。

後必歸誠、求其上帝耶和華、及其王大闢、迨至末日、寅畏耶和華、頌其仁慈。

今我將歸、爾盍來前、此民至於季世、所以待爾民者、先以告汝。

今作謳歌、誨以色列族、使其口誦、我佑斯民、而斯民違我、以歌為證。

耶和華又曰、末期之日、我將返摩押俘囚、耶和華以摩押之事告眾、其言若此。

當日摩西作此歌誨以色列族、

自約西亞之時、迄於今日、我所告爾、論以色列猶大與眾國之語、爾當取卷、書之於上、

聖神確言、季世有人背道、從偽感神者、教人事鬼、

季世必有姍笑我道者、自狥私欲、

願筆我言、刻之於簡。以錐劃之、以鉛鑄之、勒之於石、歷久不刊。我知救主恆在、終必降臨、

我既沒後、爾必喪心、違我所傳之道、作惡於耶和華前、爾所行為、干厥震怒、至於末期必遭禍患、我可逆料其如是。

若雲覆地、伐我民以色列族、越至末日、爾攻斯土、我聽其然、厥後我必撻伐爾、以彰公義、異邦靡不目睹、俾知我之為我、

我志未成、則怒不息、時至自知、
