Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.

The Lord said to me,“ Go now. Write on a tablet for the people of Judah what I am about to say. Also write it on a scroll. In days to come it will be a witness that lasts forever.

And now, go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever.

Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. They will stand until the end of time as a witness

Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they hearkened not.Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee,[ even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;

And it shall come to pass in the last days,[ that] the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

And now, behold, I go unto my people: come[ therefore, and] I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.

Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, saith the LORD. Thus far[ is] the judgment of Moab.

Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.

Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.

So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon,[ even] all these words that are written against Babylon.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!For I know[ that] my redeemer liveth, and[ that] he shall stand at the latter[ day] upon the earth:

For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt[ yourselves], and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.

And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
