自古以來、欲罰亞述國王在彼陀法、為備坎阱、其深無量、其廣無垠、積薪無數、望之若臺、焚之以火、耶和華之氣若硫磺、使烈燄四熾焉。

即別父離舟以從、○

爾於耶穌末見而愛之、未睹而信之、遂喜不勝、尊榮之至、非言所能盡、

又謂在左者曰、爾服詛者、離我入永火、乃為魔鬼及其使者而備者也、

君王、將軍、勇士、及乘馬者、與馬、或主或僕、自尊逮卑、汝可食其肉、我見獸及世上諸王、與其軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、偽師於獸前行異跡、眩惑受獸印、拜獸像者、故偽師與獸、皆被執、生投火坑、坑有硫火、

耶和華自遠而來、震怒特甚、勢不能遏、口吐氣燄、猶之火炬、若水汎濫、幾將滅頂、將降罰於列邦、若以箕簸揚、導之以歧途、若以勒拑口、

陰府震動、待爾速下、幽冥之眾、莫不騷然、昔居民上、為國之王者、見爾臨格、離座而起、曰、爾豈如我之荏弱哉、爾素華靡、鼓琴作樂、今入窀穸、下有尺蠖、上有蚯蚓、爾素為明星、今乃隕自天、昔則敗列國、今乃見滅絕、爾自謂必昇天、位崇隆、越乎至高之星辰、坐峻峭之山、入大會之中、躋北極之所、將及雲霄、比儗至尊。今爾下陰府幽冥之所、見爾者必駭然曰、震動天下、使列國畏懼、荒其四境、毀其邑垣、不反俘囚者、非斯人與。

在彼有亞述及其眾旅、俱亡以刃、下窀穸、入陰府、埃及眾庶素使人恐懼、今亡以刃、偃仆於側。

蓋有不虔之人私入會、彼以吾上帝之恩、反為邪慝之由、拒一主上帝、即吾主耶穌基督、自昔已預定其受刑、

倘爾一手一足陷爾於罪、則斷而去之、寧跛與殘缺入於生、勿兩手兩足投永火、倘爾一目陷爾於罪、則抉而委之、寧一目入於生、勿兩目投地獄之火、○

在便欣嫩谷、築陀法崇丘、焚獻子女、干我所禁、我深痛疾。時日將至、人必不復以陀法便欣嫩谷名斯地、而以殺戮稱、死者無地可埋、咸葬於陀法。

告眾曰、萬有之主耶和華曰、我必毀此邑民、猶毀陶器、不能復完、死者既眾、無地可埋、咸葬於陀法、耶和華又曰、我必視此邑民、有如陀法、猶大王宮殿、耶路撒冷廬舍、必視為污衊、無異陀法、蓋在樓巔、人焚香以奉天象、酒以灌奠、崇敬他上帝、○耶利米奉耶和華命往陀法、述此預言既竟、則詣殿院、立而告眾、曰、

值崇拜於其上帝溺落之殿、其子亞得米勒、沙哩斯弒之、遁於亞喇臘國、更有一子。以撒哈頓繼位。

我之上帝耶和華兮、爾之異跡、佑我甚眾、述之惟艱、言之不可勝數兮。爾不欲以牲牷祭祀、不喜燔祭以贖罪、爾詔告、我聽命兮、
