蓋陀斐特設自古昔、為王而備、深之廣之、積多薪、蓄以火、耶和華之氣、若硫磺之流而燃之、

For Tophet was established of old, Yes, for the king it is prepared. He has made it deep and large; Its pyre is fire with much wood; The breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, Kindles it.

For a Topheth is prepared of old; yea, for the king it is made ready; he hath made it deep and large; the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of Jehovah, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

For Tophet[ is] ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made[ it] deep[ and] large: the pile thereof[ is] fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

For the burial place is already prepared; it has been made deep and wide for the king. The firewood is piled high on it. The LORD’s breath, like a stream flowing with brimstone, will ignite it.

又污衊欣嫩子谷之陀斐特、免人使其子女經火、以奉摩洛、

耶和華自天雨火硫於所多瑪、蛾摩拉、

故耶和華曰、時日將至、此地不復稱陀斐特、亦不稱欣嫩子谷、惟稱殺戮谷、

則必飲上帝恚怒之酒、純然無雜、酌於恚怒之杯者、又將於聖使及羔前、受火與硫之痛苦、其痛苦之煙上騰、以至世世、凡拜獸與其像、及受其名之印誌者、晝夜無憩息也、

夫耶穌基督在昨在今、爰及世世、一也、

即舍舟別父而從焉、○

夫爾未見而愛之、今雖不見而信之、則喜甚、其樂也、乃言不能罄、榮莫與京者也、

又謂在左者曰、爾服詛者、去我入永火、乃為魔及其使而備者、

俾得食君王將帥勇士、及馬與乘之者、或自主為奴、與卑者尊者之肉、○我又見獸及世上諸王、並其軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、獸被執、偽先知亦然、即昔行異蹟於獸前、以惑受獸印誌而拜其像者、二者生投於火湖、以硫焚之、

耶和華之名自遠方而來、烈怒炎炎、濃煙上騰、口盈忿氣、舌如烈火、其氣如河漲溢、高及於項、以盪滅之篩篩萬國、導諸民於迷途、若以勒拑其口、

陰府在下、緣爾震動、迓爾來臨、幽魂即世間之顯者、因而騷然、列邦諸王、離座而起、僉謂爾曰、爾亦荏弱似我乎、爾與吾儕相若乎、爾之威勢琴音、墮於陰府、爾則下鋪以蛆、上被以蟲、啟明之晨星歟、何自天而隕乎、屈抑列邦者歟、何見斫於地乎、爾心自謂、我將升天、設位於上帝諸星之上、坐於北極聚會之山、騰越雲霄、與至上者比擬、然爾必下陰府、墮於至深之坑、凡見爾者、必注目諦視曰、使大地震撼、列國聳動、寰區荒落、城邑傾圮、不令俘虜返故土者、乃斯人耶、列國諸王、各有陵寢、既沒猶榮、惟爾見擲、不入於墓、若被棄之枝、以被刺而死、下於石坑者為衣、若被踐之屍、爾不與諸王同葬、因爾敗爾國、殺爾民、惡人之裔、其名永不稱焉、○

亞述及其民眾在此、俱被戮而仆於刃者、其塚遍於四周、斯塚列於深坑、其眾環之、生時令人恐懼、今被戮而仆於刃、

蓋有數人潛入、即自昔所預載以服此鞫者、彼乃不虔之人、以我上帝之恩、反縱其慾、而不認唯一主宰及我主耶穌基督、○

倘爾一手一足陷爾、則斫而棄之、寧殘與跛入於生、勝於二手二足委永火、倘爾一目陷爾、則抉而棄之、寧一目入於生、勝於二目委火獄、

且建陀斐特崇邱、即在欣嫩子谷、焚其子女於火、此事非我所命、亦非我心所思、故耶和華曰、時日將至、此地不復稱陀斐特、亦不稱欣嫩子谷、惟稱殺戮谷、蓋必葬死人於陀斐特、致無隙地、

告之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、我必如是毀斯民斯邑、若人毀陶人之器、不能復完、人必葬屍於陀斐特、致無隙地、耶和華曰、我必若是待斯土、與其居民、使此邑如陀斐特、耶路撒冷第宅、猶大列王宮室、凡在其上焚香於天象、灌酒於他神、而玷污者、必如陀斐特焉、○耶利米奉耶和華命、往陀斐特預言而返、則立耶和華室院中、告眾曰、

崇拜其神於尼斯洛廟時、其子亞得米勒與沙利色、以刃弒之、遁於亞拉臘地、其子以撒哈頓嗣位、

耶和華我上帝歟、爾所作之妙工、及向我之意念甚多、不能悉陳、若欲稱述、不可勝數兮、祭祀禮儀、非爾所悅、燔祭罪祭、非爾所欲、爾啟我耳兮、
