爾恃法老之勢力、終必抱愧、望於伊及得蔭庇、定蒙羞辱、

所以，法老的力量必作你们的羞辱；投在埃及的荫下，要为你们的惭愧。

但法老的庇护反成为你们的羞辱；你们投在埃及荫下，反使你们惭愧。

但法老的庇护反成为你们的羞辱；你们投在埃及荫下，反使你们惭愧。

然而，法老的保护和荫庇必成为他们的耻辱。

因此，法老的保护必成为你们的羞耻，投靠在埃及的荫庇下，变成你们的耻辱。

所以，法老的力量必作你們的羞辱；投在埃及的蔭下，要為你們的慚愧。

但法老的庇護反成為你們的羞辱；你們投在埃及蔭下，反使你們慚愧。

但法老的庇護反成為你們的羞辱；你們投在埃及蔭下，反使你們慚愧。

然而，法老的保護和蔭庇必成為他們的恥辱。

因此，法老的保護必成為你們的羞恥，投靠在埃及的蔭庇下，變成你們的恥辱。

故此法老的保護必變為你們的慚愧，躲避於埃及的蔭庇下必成為你們的恥辱。

因此，法老的保護必成為他們的恥辱；投靠在埃及的蔭庇下，也必成為他們的羞愧。

法老之保障、必為爾之羞辱、埃及之蔭庇、必為爾之愧恥、

爾惟法老之勢力是恃、埃及之庇蔭是賴、則必含羞蒙恥、

But Pharaoh’s protection will be to your shame, Egypt’s shade will bring you disgrace.

But looking to Pharaoh will only bring them shame. Asking Egypt for help will bring them dishonor.

Therefore shall the protection of Pharaoh turn to your shame, and the shelter in the shadow of Egypt to your humiliation.

But by trusting Pharaoh, you will be humiliated, and by depending on him, you will be disgraced.

But Pharaoh’s protection will become your shame, and refuge in Egypt’s shadow your humiliation.

Therefore the safety of Pharaoh will be your shame, And the shelter in the shadow of Egypt, your humiliation.

Therefore the strength of Pharaoh Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt Shall be your humiliation.

Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the refuge in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

But Pharaoh’s protection will become your shame, and refuge in Egypt’s shadow your disgrace.

Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt[ your] confusion.

But Pharaoh’s protection will bring you nothing but shame, and the safety of Egypt’s protective shade nothing but humiliation.

Therefore the strength of Pharaoh will be your shame, and the refuge in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

凡恃古實誇伊及者、或作凡仰望古實倚恃伊及為榮者必皆恐懼慚愧、

主如是云、凡人心棄我、我原文作主倚恃人、倚恃肉體者、倚恃肉體者原文作以肉體為其臂者斯人有禍、必如焭獨人在曠野、不見福降、或作必如杜松生於曠野不見雨澤居於沙漠旱乾之處、無人居之滷地、

希望不致羞愧、蓋天主之愛、以所賜我之聖神、灌注我心、

經載云、凡信之者、必不致於羞愧、

時法老軍旅、自伊及而出、圍耶路撒冷之迦勒底人、聞其風聲、遂離耶路撒冷而去、先知耶利米奉主命曰、主以色列之天主如是云、猶大王遣爾曹來、求問於我、爾曹當如是告之曰、法老之軍旅、出以助爾、必歸其地伊及、迦勒底人必復至攻擊斯邑、必取之、以火焚燬、主如是云、勿自欺曰、迦勒底人必離我而去、彼必不去、攻爾之迦勒底人、假使爾擊其全軍、其中惟遺受傷之人、亦各於幕中起、以火焚燬斯邑、○

見所恃之國、不能益己、則悉羞愧、彼國非但不能濟助、不能加益、反使人受辱蒙羞、牲畜負物往南方、經艱難險阻之地、或作論南方之獸有預言曰彼經艱難險阻之地其中有牝獅、猛獅、又有毒蛇、飛蛇、以其貨財載於驢背、以其寶物負於駝峰、攜至不能益己之國、恃伊及濟助、皆徒勞無益、故我論伊及、呼曰、故我論伊及呼曰或作故我稱伊及曰狂言徒作、安坐無動、

凡作偶像者、必羞恥慚愧、同生愧怍而退、惟爾以色列人、恃主永蒙拯救、不羞恥、不慚愧、永世靡暨、○

爾恃伊及國乎、豈知彼猶已折之葦、人若倚其上、必刺入其手、凡恃伊及王法老者亦若是、
