Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.

He might treat you like prisoners. You might eat the bread of trouble. You might drink the water of suffering. But he will be your Teacher. He won’t hide himself anymore. You will see him with your own eyes.

And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher.

Though the Lord gave you adversity for food and suffering for drink, he will still be with you to teach you. You will see your teacher with your own eyes.

strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying,“ It is through many tribulations that we must enter the kingdom of God.”

It is futile for you to rise up early, To stay up late, To eat the bread of painful labor; This is how He gives to His beloved sleep.

We do not see our signs; There is no longer any prophet, Nor is there anyone among us who knows how long.

“ Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord God,“ When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the Lord.People will stagger from sea to sea And from the north even to the east; They will roam about to seek the word of the Lord, But they will not find it.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

For I have eaten ashes like bread, And mixed my drink with weeping

You shall not eat leavened bread with it; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread with it, the bread of affliction( for you came out of the land of Egypt in a hurry), so that you will remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.

Then the Lord said,“ In this way the sons of Israel will eat their bread unclean among the nations where I will scatter them.”But I said,“ Oh, Lord God! Behold, I have never been defiled; for from my youth until now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by animals, nor has any unclean meat ever entered my mouth!”Then He said to me,“ See, I will give you cow’s dung in place of human dung, so that you may prepare your bread over it.”Moreover, He said to me,“ Son of man, behold, I am going to break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they will eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and drink water by measure and in horror,because bread and water will be scarce; and they will tremble with one another and waste away in their guilt.

And you will do just as I have done; you will not cover your mustache, and you will not eat the bread of other people.Your turbans will be on your heads, and your sandals on your feet. You will not mourn and you will not weep; but you will rot away in your guilty deeds, and you will groan to one another.

Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers,
