因此，以色列的圣者如此说：“因为你们厌弃了这话，依靠欺压和邪僻，以它们为依赖；

所以，以色列的聖者如此說：因為你們藐視這訓誨的話，倚賴欺壓和乖僻，以此為可靠的，

所以，以色列的聖者如此說：「因你們藐視這話，倚賴欺壓和詭詐，以此為可靠，

因此，以色列的聖者說，『因為你們藐視我的話，依仗欺壓之能和詭詐之術，

因此，以色列的聖者這樣說：“因為你們棄絕了這話，反而信賴欺壓和乖僻的手段，更以此為倚靠，

因此以色列之聖者這麼說：『你們棄絕了這話語，而倚賴欺壓和乖僻，去依靠它，

因此，以色列的聖者如此說：「因為你們厭棄了這話，依靠欺壓和邪僻，以它們為依賴；

故以色列之聖者曰、爾輕視斯言、惟暴虐乖戾是恃、

故以色列族之聖主告爾曰、爾棄斯道、強暴妄作、以此自恃。

故以色列聖主如是云、爾棄此命、恃強暴、賴偽妄、偽妄或作奸惡之事

Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says:“ Because you have rejected this message, relied on oppression and depended on deceit,

So the Holy One of Israel speaks. He says,“ You have turned your backs on what I have said. You have depended on telling people lies. You have crushed others.

Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel,“ Because you despise this word and trust in oppression and perverseness and rely on them,

This is the reply of the Holy One of Israel:“ Because you despise what I tell you and trust instead in oppression and lies,

Therefore the Holy One of Israel says:“ Because you have rejected this message and have trusted in oppression and deceit, and have depended on them,

Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says:“ Since you have rejected this word And have put your trust in oppression and crookedness, and have relied on them,

Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel:“ Because you despise this word, And trust in oppression and perversity, And rely on them,

Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely thereon;

Therefore the Holy One of Israel says:“ Because you have rejected this message and have trusted in oppression and deceit, and have depended on them,

Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

For this reason this is what the Holy One of Israel says:“ You have rejected this message; you trust instead in your ability to oppress and trick, and rely on that kind of behavior.

Therefore the Holy One of Israel says,“ Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely on it,

火苗怎樣吞滅碎稭，乾草怎樣落在火焰之中，照樣，他們的根必然腐朽，他們的花像灰塵揚起；因為他們厭棄萬軍之耶和華的教誨，藐視以色列聖者的言語。

你倚靠自己的惡行，說：「無人看見我。」你的智慧聰明使你走偏，你心裏說：「惟有我，除我以外再沒有別的了。」

主耶和華－以色列的聖者如此說：「你們得救在乎歸回安息，得力在乎平靜安穩。」你們卻是不肯，你們說：「不然，我們要騎馬奔走」，所以你們必然奔走。你們又說：「我們要騎快馬」，所以追趕你們的，也必飛快。一人叱喝，令千人逃跑，五人叱喝，你們都逃跑；以致剩下的如山頂的旗杆，如山岡上的大旗。

不要仗勢欺人，也不要因搶奪而驕傲；若財寶加增，不要放在心上。

埃及的幫助是徒然的，因此，我稱它為「毫不中用的拉哈伯」。

這是你所當得的，是我量給你的報應；因為你忘記了我，倚靠虛假。這是耶和華說的。

耶和華說：「禍哉！這悖逆的兒女。他們同謀，卻不出於我，結盟，卻不出於我的靈，以致罪上加罪。

你們曾說：「我們已與死亡立約，與陰間結盟，不可擋的鞭子揮過時，必不臨到我們；因我們以謊言為避難所，靠虛假來藏身」；

禍哉！那些下埃及求幫助的，他們仰賴馬匹，倚靠甚多的戰車，並倚靠強壯的騎兵，卻不仰望以色列的聖者，也不求問耶和華。其實，耶和華有智慧，他降災禍，並不撤回自己的話，卻要興起攻擊作惡之家，攻擊那幫助人作惡的。埃及人不過是人，並非神，他們的馬不過是血肉，並不是靈。耶和華一伸手，那幫助人的必絆跌，受幫助的也必跌倒，都一同滅亡。

耶和華如此說：「猶大三番四次犯罪，厭棄耶和華的訓誨，不遵守他的律例；他們祖先所隨從虛假的偶像使他們走迷了，我必不撤銷對它的懲罰。

你為甚麼藐視耶和華的命令，做他眼中看為惡的事呢？你用刀擊殺赫人烏利亞，又娶了他的妻子為妻，借亞捫人的刀殺死他。現在刀劍必永不離開你的家，因你藐視我，娶了赫人烏利亞的妻子為妻。』

看哪，這就是那不以神為保障的人，他只倚靠豐富的財物，在邪惡上堅立自己。

所以，那棄絕這教導的不是棄絕人，而是棄絕那把自己的聖靈賜給你們的神。

耶穌又對門徒說：「聽從你們的就是聽從我；棄絕你們的就是棄絕我；棄絕我的就是棄絕差遣我來的那位。」

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家；他所喜愛的樹就是猶大人。他指望公平，看哪，卻有流血；指望公義，看哪，卻有冤聲。
