爾必卑降、自地而言、語音喃喃、出於塵埃、有若巫覡、自土地塵埃中、唧唧而語、

民必降格、聲勿揚、若為神所憑者、其音微細、若從地出、

爾必卑降、伏地而言、語音微細、出自塵土、爾聲如鬼聲自地而出、從塵中唧唧出言、

Brought low, you will speak from the ground; your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth; out of the dust your speech will whisper.

You will be brought down to the grave. You will speak from deep down inside the ground. Your words will be barely heard out of the dust. Your voice will sound like the voice of a ghost coming from under the ground. Your words will sound like a whisper out of the dust.”

And you will be brought low; from the earth you shall speak, and from the dust your speech will be bowed down; your voice shall come from the ground like the voice of a ghost, and from the dust your speech shall whisper.

Then deep from the earth you will speak; from low in the dust your words will come. Your voice will whisper from the ground like a ghost conjured up from the grave.

You will be brought down; you will speak from the ground, and your words will come from low in the dust. Your voice will be like that of a spirit from the ground; your speech will whisper from the dust.

有人对你们说：“要求问那些交鬼的和行巫术的，就是那些喃喃细语的人。”一族之民不应当求问自己的神吗？他们怎能为活人求问死人呢？

耶路撒冷败落，犹大倾倒，是因为他们的舌头和行为都敌对耶和华，惹怒了他那充满荣光的眼目。

我们俯伏在尘土之上；我们的身体紧贴地面。

到那日，眼目高傲的人必降卑，性情骄傲的人也必俯首，唯独耶和华被高举。因为万军之耶和华必有一日，要攻击一切骄傲的、狂妄的，和所有高抬自己的，他们都要降卑。又要攻击黎巴嫩所有高大的香柏树，和巴珊所有的橡树。又攻击所有的高山，和所有的峻岭；攻击每一个高台，和每一道坚固的城墙；攻击所有他施的船只，和所有美丽的船。人的高傲必变为谦虚，人的狂妄都必降为卑微，在那日，唯独耶和华被高举。偶像却必全然消逝。耶和华起来，使大地震动的时候，人必进入石洞，进入土穴，躲避耶和华的惊吓和他威严的荣光。到那日，人必把那些自己所做、供自己敬拜的金偶像和银偶像，抛给田鼠和蝙蝠。这样，当耶和华起来，大地震动的时候，他们就能进入磐石缝中和岩石隙里，躲避耶和华的惊吓和他威严的荣光。

我必把这杯放在那些苦待你的人的手里；他们曾对你说：‘你屈身俯伏，让我们走过去吧！’你就以你的背作陆地，作街道，任由他们踏过去。”

她的污秽沾满了衣裙；她从不思想自己的结局。所以她令人惊异地败落了；没有人安慰她。她说：“耶和华啊！求你看看我的苦难，因为仇敌显为大。”
