求主啟我目、使我得窺主律法之奧義、

求我主耶穌基督之天主、榮耀之父、賜爾以智慧默示之神、使爾識主、明爾心目、使爾知天主召爾有望、其望何如、天主以聖徒為業、其榮之豐盛何如、又天主循其大力、顯大能於我儕信者中、其能之大何如、

見者之目不復昧、聽者之耳必常聰、

能聞之耳、能見之目、俱主所造、

我遣爾為明其目、俾棄暗就光、離撒但之權、歸於天主、使其因信我而罪得赦、於諸聖徒中獲業、

棄隱慝可恥之事、不行詭詐、不混天主之道、惟表彰真理、使人之心、在天主前、以我為是、若我之福音不明、惟為沈淪者不明、此世之主此世之主即魔迷惑此等不信者之心、基督榮耀福音之光不照之、基督乃天主之像、我所宣者非己、乃主基督耶穌也、我因耶穌為爾僕、昔天主命光由暗而照、今照於我心、以光照人、使其知天主之榮、即在基督面所顯者也、

蓋主使爾猶如酣睡、閉爾目、蒙爾首、爾目即先知、爾首即先見、緣此爾以諸默示、視如封緘之書、若付於識字者、曰、請讀此書、必對曰、我不能讀、蓋書封緘、若付於不識字者、曰、請讀此書、彼必曰、我不識字、○

其心愚頑、至於今日、讀舊約時、其帕尚存未除、此帕惟賴基督可除、至於今日、彼讀摩西之書、有帕蒙心、迨其歸主、帕即除矣、所言之神、主也、主之神所在、人得自由、我眾面不蒙帕、如由鏡得觀主榮、亦必化為此像、由榮而愈榮、即由主之神而化也、

心迷者必得知識、素悖逆者必受訓誨、

主之神臨我、因主膏我、俾我傳福音於貧者、遣我醫傷心之人、

我勸爾向我市火煉之金、使爾致富、又購白衣衣之、使可免裸身之恥、又求膏膏爾目、使爾得見、

故云寢者當醒、由死而起、則基督必光照爾、○

然至今日、主尚未賜爾心能明、目能見、耳能聽、

先知書載云、眾將蒙天主之訓、故凡聽父訓而學之者、悉就我、

遂謂之曰、以爾所見所聞、往告約翰、如瞽者明、跛者行、癩者潔、聾者聽、死者復活、貧者聞福音、

在是人也、正應以賽亞之預言云、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、因斯民之心冥頑、自聾其耳、自閉其目、免其目視、耳聽、心悟悔改、而我醫之焉、惟爾目有福、因其見也、爾耳有福、因其聞也、

必導瞽者於素不識之道、使行不識之徑、使暗在其前為光、使曲為直、我必行斯事、必不遐棄斯民、凡恃偶像、向金鑄之形像曰、爾乃我之神、此人必退後蒙羞、○爾聾者當聽、爾瞽者當視、

耶穌曰、西門巴約拿、爾福矣、蓋非屬血氣者示爾、乃我在天之父示爾也、
