故我將行奇事於斯民、奇之最奇、智者亡其智、聰者蔽其聰、○

故我必待斯民以奇異、奇異又奇異、使其智慧者喪智慧、明哲者失明哲、○

Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.”

So once more I will shock these people with many wonderful acts. I will destroy the wisdom of those who think they are so wise. I will do away with the cleverness of those who think they are so smart.”

therefore, behold, I will again do wonderful things with this people, with wonder upon wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hidden.”

Because of this, I will once again astound these hypocrites with amazing wonders. The wisdom of the wise will pass away, and the intelligence of the intelligent will disappear.”

Therefore, I will again confound these people with wonder after wonder. The wisdom of their wise will vanish, and the perception of their perceptive will be hidden.

Therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; And the wisdom of their wise men will perish, And the understanding of their men who have understanding will be concealed.”

Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

Therefore I will again do an amazing thing for these people– an absolutely extraordinary deed. Wise men will have nothing to say, the sages will have no explanations.”

耶和華曰、試觀異邦人、殊可駭異、當爾之時、吾將有所為、雖有人告爾、爾亦不信、

耶和華勃興、赫然震怒、與在比哩心山基遍谷、無以異也、惟降災於選民、實所罕有、

萬有之主耶和華、以以東之事告眾、曰、在提慢豈無哲士、賢人、豈無智慧、豈無智謀、

曰、往告斯民、云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、任斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視耳聽心悟、遷改而得醫焉、

上帝諭摩西、我所知也、獨不知此人奚自耳、曰、彼明我目、爾不知其奚自、不亦異乎、我知上帝不聽罪人、惟崇拜上帝而遵其旨者、則聽之、亙古以來、未聞生而瞽者之目、人能明之、若此人非出自上帝、則無能為也、眾曰、爾生而有罪、反教我乎、遂逐之、

經云、我將敗智者之智、廢賢者之賢、智者安在、士子安在、世之辯者又安在、豈非上帝以此世之智為不智乎、世人恃其智、不識上帝、故上帝喜以若愚之道、救諸信者、斯上帝之智也、猶太人索異跡、希利尼人求智慧、余傳基督釘十字架之道、猶太人以為可厭、希利尼人以為不智、惟奉召者、則無論猶太、希利尼、皆以基督為上帝大用、上帝智慧、

耶和華曰、當斯時也、我必在以東、其邦賢人、殲之殆盡、以掃族中、必無哲士、

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者可見、見者反為瞽、在旁之𠵽唎㘔人聞此、則曰、我儕亦瞽乎、耶穌曰、爾瞽則無罪、今言能見、則爾罪尚在矣、

吾語汝、昔諸先知及后王、欲見爾所見、而不得見、欲聞而所聞、而不得聞、○

飛鶴知其期、班鳩玄鳥、呢喃之類、俱知當來之時、惟我民不識耶和華之法。奚必自誇為智、得耶和華之律例、繕寫舛謬、盡成偽例。智者迷惑愧恥、不勝憂疑、棄耶和華之道、鳥得為智。

譎者巧於計、反害及身、謀愈狡者、敗愈速、

鎖安之牧伯、法老之謀士、忽為愚懵、焉能告法老曰、我乃先賢之後、前王之裔哉。萬有之主耶和華、已定厥命、降災埃及、若爾有賢人、必能知之、知之必能告爾。鎖安之牧伯為愚、挪弗之君長見惑、支派之宗、使之迷途、耶和華賦埃及以昏昧之心、使之行事舛錯、若醉者哇吐、跬步不能自主。

往告此民曰、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、蓋此民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟、遷改而我醫之、

顧彼既知上帝、猶不以上帝尊之謝之、乃志意虛妄、心頑蒙昧、自稱為智、適成愚魯、

猶大人乎、爾曹躊躇而滿志、相望而驚疑、厥心昏迷、跬步不能自主、非因飲酒、乃因駭異、蓋耶和華使爾閉目酣睡、民長先知、均蔽厥心、

蓋此世之智、上帝以為不智、經云、主令智者自中其詭計、

彼既不以上帝存於中、上帝聽其喪心、行所不當行、
