For Jehovah hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes, the prophets; and your heads, the seers, hath he covered.

因为耶和华将沉睡的灵浇灌你们，封闭你们的眼，蒙盖你们的头。你们的眼就是先知；你们的头就是先见。

而是因为耶和华用沉睡的灵浇灌你们；他封闭了你们的眼睛，就是众先知；他蒙住了你们的头，就是众先见。

因為耶和華將沉睡的靈澆灌你們，封閉你們的眼，蒙蓋你們的頭。你們的眼就是先知；你們的頭就是先見。

因為耶和華把沉睡的靈，傾倒在你們身上；他緊閉你們的眼，就是先知；蒙蓋你們的頭，就是先見。

因為永恆主將沉睡之靈傾注於你們；使你們的眼緊合着，使你們的頭蒙蓋着！

而是因為耶和華用沉睡的靈澆灌你們；他封閉了你們的眼睛，就是眾先知；他蒙住了你們的頭，就是眾先見。

蓋耶和華以沉睡之神注爾、閉爾之目、即先知也、蒙爾之首、即先見也、

蓋耶和華使爾閉目酣睡、民長先知、均蔽厥心、

蓋主使爾猶如酣睡、閉爾目、蒙爾首、爾目即先知、爾首即先見、

The Lord has brought over you a deep sleep: He has sealed your eyes( the prophets); he has covered your heads( the seers).

The Lord has made you fall into a deep sleep. He has closed the eyes of your prophets. He has covered the heads of your seers so they can’t see.

For the Lord has poured out upon you a spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes( the prophets), and covered your heads( the seers).

For the Lord has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has closed the eyes of your prophets and visionaries.

For the LORD has poured out on you an overwhelming urge to sleep; he has shut your eyes( the prophets) and covered your heads( the seers).

For the Lord has poured over you a spirit of deep sleep, He has shut your eyes— the prophets; And He has covered your heads— the seers.

For the Lord has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.

according as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this very day.

They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see; And make their loins continually to shake.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.

even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

( Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, thus he said, Come, and let us go to the seer; for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)

Therefore it shall be night unto you, that ye shall have no vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be black over them.

saying, Go thou unto this people, and say, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.

that say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits,

And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that Jehovah had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold on him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.Why hast thou prophesied in the name of Jehovah, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant? And all the people were gathered unto Jeremiah in the house of Jehovah.And when the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king’s house unto the house of Jehovah; and they sat in the entry of the new gate of Jehovah’s house.Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy of death; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.

So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul’s head; and they gat them away: and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither did any awake; for they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from Jehovah was fallen upon them.

Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thou away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:but prophesy not again any more at Beth- el; for it is the king’s sanctuary, and it is a royal house.

And if the prophet be deceived and speak a word, I, Jehovah, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them.

the mighty man, and the man of war; the judge, and the prophet, and the diviner, and the elder;the captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counsellor, and the expert artificer, and the skilful enchanter.

And I said, Hear, I pray you, ye heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: is it not for you to know justice?

therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
