這地的人因酒顛三倒四，因烈酒搖晃迷糊；祭司和先知也因烈酒顛三倒四，因酒混亂，因烈酒搖晃迷糊；他們看異象時顛三倒四，作判決時搖擺不定。

斯人也、以清酒而搖曳、以醇醪而蹁躚、祭司先知、亦以醇醪而搖曳、皆困於酒、以醇醪而蹁躚、見異象則謬解、行審判則顚蹶、

斯邦之人、自祭司至先知、縱飲無度、沉湎於酒、至於跬步不能自主、雖目睹異象、而心志仍昏、雖為民折中、而剖決不明。

惟斯人亦被酒迷惑、因醇醪而差謬、祭司與先知被醇醪迷惑、為酒所困、雖得默示、仍然迷惑、行審判俱恍惚無定、

And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions.

Israel’s leaders are drunk from wine. They can’t walk straight. They are drunk from beer. They are unsteady on their feet. Priests and prophets drink beer. They can’t walk straight. They are mixed up from drinking too much wine. They drink too much beer. They are unsteady on their feet. The prophets see visions but don’t really understand them. The priests aren’t able to make good decisions.

These also reel with wine and stagger with strong drink; the priest and the prophet reel with strong drink, they are swallowed by wine, they stagger with strong drink, they reel in vision, they stumble in giving judgment.

Now, however, Israel is led by drunks who reel with wine and stagger with alcohol. The priests and prophets stagger with alcohol and lose themselves in wine. They reel when they see visions and stagger as they render decisions.

Even these stagger because of wine and stumble under the influence of beer: Priest and prophet stagger because of beer. They are confused by wine. They stumble because of beer. They are muddled in their visions. They stumble in their judgments.

And these also reel with wine and stagger from intoxicating drink: The priest and the prophet reel with intoxicating drink, They are confused by wine, they stagger from intoxicating drink; They reel while having visions, They stagger when rendering a verdict.

But they also have erred through wine, And through intoxicating drink are out of the way; The priest and the prophet have erred through intoxicating drink, They are swallowed up by wine, They are out of the way through intoxicating drink; They err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

And even these reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink; the priest and the prophet reel with strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they stagger with strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

These also stagger because of wine and stumble under the influence of beer: priest and prophet stagger because of beer, they are confused by wine. They stumble because of beer, they are muddled in their visions, they stumble in their judgments.

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble[ in] judgment.

Even these men stagger because of wine, they stumble around because of beer– priests and prophets stagger because of beer, they are confused because of wine, they stumble around because of beer; they stagger while seeing prophetic visions, they totter while making legal decisions.

They also reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink. The priest and the prophet reel with strong drink. They are swallowed up by wine. They stagger with strong drink. They err in vision. They stumble in judgment.

以色列的守望者都瞎了眼，沒有知識；都是啞狗，不會吠叫，只知做夢，躺臥，貪睡，這些狗貪食，不知飽足。這些牧人不知明辨，他們都偏行己路，人人追求自己的利益。他們說：「來吧！我去拿酒，讓我們暢飲烈酒吧！明天必和今天一樣，甚至更好！」

「你們要謹慎，免得被貪食、醉酒和今生的憂慮壓住你們的心，那日子就忽然臨到你們，

酒能使人傲慢，烈酒使人喧嚷，凡沉溺其中的，都無智慧。

「那些日子的災難一過去，太陽要變黑，月亮也不放光，眾星要從天上墜落，天上的萬象都要震動。

耶和華使歪曲的靈滲入埃及中間，讓他們使埃及一切所做的都出差錯，好像醉酒之人嘔吐時東倒西歪一樣。

邦國啊，你的君王若是貴族之子，你的羣臣按時吃喝，是為強身，不為酒醉，你就有福了！

至於我的百姓，統治者剝削你們，放高利貸的人管轄你們。我的百姓啊，引導你的使你走錯，並毀壞你所行的道路。

他們搖搖晃晃，東倒西歪，好像醉酒的人，他們的智慧無法可施。

若有人心存虛假，用謊言說：「我向你們傳講可得清酒和烈酒」，那人就必作這百姓的傳講者。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：「你們不要聽這些先知向你們所說的預言。他們使你們成為虛無，所說的異象是出於自己的心，不是出於耶和華的口。

你們豈不是見了虛假的異象嗎？豈不是說了謊詐的占卜嗎？你們說，這是耶和華說的，其實我沒有說過。」

長老和顯要就是頭，以謊言教人的先知就是尾。因為引導這百姓的使他們走入迷途，被引導的都必被吞滅。

我在撒瑪利亞的先知中曾見狂妄的事；他們藉巴力說預言，使我的百姓以色列走迷了路。

看哪，人卻歡喜快樂，宰牛殺羊，吃肉喝酒：「讓我們吃吃喝喝吧！因為明天要死了。」

所有的默示，在你們看來都如封住的書卷，人將這書卷交給識字的人，說：「請念吧！」他說：「我不能念，因為它封住了。」

那時，百姓如何，祭司也如何；僕人如何，主人也如何；婢女如何，主母也如何；買主如何，賣主也如何；放債的如何，借貸的也如何；債主如何，欠債的也如何。

他張弓好像仇敵，他站立舉起右手，如同敵人殺戮我們眼目所喜愛的。他在錫安的帳棚傾倒憤怒，如火一般。

「你和你兒子進會幕的時候，清酒烈酒都不可喝，免得你們死亡，這要作你們世世代代永遠的定例。你們必須分辨聖的俗的，潔淨的和不潔淨的，

丈夫也應當照樣愛妻子，如同愛自己的身體；愛妻子就是愛自己了。

禍哉！那些清晨早起，追尋烈酒，因酒狂熱，流連到深夜的人，

祭司進內院時不可喝酒。

淫亂。酒和新酒奪去人的心。我的百姓求問木偶，以為木杖能指示他們；淫亂的心使他們失迷，以致行淫離棄他們的上帝，

禍哉！那些以飲酒稱雄，以調烈酒稱霸的人。

利慕伊勒啊，君王不宜，君王不宜喝酒，王子尋找烈酒也不相宜；恐怕喝了就忘記所頒的法令，顛倒所有困苦人的是非。

耶和華對我說：「那些先知託我的名說假預言，我並未差遣他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有對他們說話；他們向你們預言的是虛假的異象、占卜、虛無，以及心中的詭詐。
