其狀甚華美莊嚴、勢若花將殘之邑、即建於膏腴平原岡之邑、必如夏前初熟之無花果、凡見之者、適摘於手即食之、

That fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley, will be like figs ripe before harvest— as soon as people see them and take them in hand, they swallow them.

It sits on a hill above a rich valley. The city is like a wreath of flowers whose glorious beauty is fading away. But it will become like figs that are ripe before harvest. As soon as people see them, they pick them and swallow them.

and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley, will be like a first-ripe fig before the summer: when someone sees it, he swallows it as soon as it is in his hand.

It sits at the head of a fertile valley, but its glorious beauty will fade like a flower. Whoever sees it will snatch it up, as an early fig is quickly picked and eaten.

The fading flower of his beautiful splendor, which is on the summit above the rich valley, will be like a ripe fig before the summer harvest. Whoever sees it will swallow it while it is still in his hand.

我真悲惨！就像夏天的果子已被收尽，葡萄已被摘净，找不到一串可吃的，寻不见我心中渴望的初熟无花果。

你所有的堡垒都像无花果树上的初熟果子，一摇树，果子就掉进吃的人口中。

以法莲酒徒引以为荣的华冠有祸了！它坐落在醉酒者肥美的山谷顶上，它的荣美如将残之花。

以法莲支派在以色列地位崇高，他们一开口，人都恐惧颤抖。但他们却祭拜巴力，自招灭亡。

尽管以法莲在众弟兄中最强盛，但炙热的东风——耶和华的风要从沙漠刮来，使清泉枯竭，水井干涸。他储藏的一切珍宝都要被掳去。

耶和华说：“昔日我看见以色列时，像在荒野看见葡萄；看见你们的祖先时，像在无花果树上看见初熟的果子。但他们却祭拜巴力·毗珥，把自己献给可耻的偶像，变得像他们所爱的偶像一样可憎。以法莲人的荣耀要如鸟飞逝，你们将不能受孕，不能怀胎，也不能生育。

以法莲要被击打，他们的根将枯干，再也不能结果。就算他们能生儿育女，我也要杀死他们心爱的孩子。”

富有的弟兄降卑，也要快乐，因为他会像花草一样衰残。骄阳升起，草就干枯，花也凋谢，美丽就消失了。富有的人在忙忙碌碌中也会如此衰残。

耶和华说：“以法莲啊，我该怎样待你呢？犹大啊，我该怎样待你呢？你们对我的爱像晨雾，如转瞬即逝的朝露。

他们顷刻间被毁灭，在恐怖中彻底灭亡。他们不过是人醒来后的一场梦。主啊，你一行动，他们必灰飞烟灭。

天上的星辰都坠落，好像未成熟的无花果被狂风吹落一般。
