做饼的粮食是用磨磨碎，因它不必常打；虽用碌碡和马打散，却不磨它。

若夫五穀、豈軋而碎之乎、非也、不恆撲之、雖以車輪碾之、馬蹄踐之、亦不之碎、

若夫五穀必先打以𦔖耞、然後碾以車輪、車輪馬蹄、用不可過、過則損穀、

打五穀豈至碎乎、必不常打、惟以車輪碾之、使馬蹏踐之、並不碎其穀、或作五穀雖碾雖打惟不宜屢次祗以車輪碾之使馬蹏踐之並不碾碎其榖

Grain must be ground to make bread; so one does not go on threshing it forever. The wheels of a threshing cart may be rolled over it, but one does not use horses to grind grain.

Grain must be ground up to make bread. A farmer separates it out. But he doesn’t go on doing it forever. He drives the wheels of a threshing cart over it. But he doesn’t use horses to grind the grain.

Does one crush grain for bread? No, he does not thresh it forever; when he drives his cart wheel over it with his horses, he does not crush it.

Grain for bread is easily crushed, so he doesn’t keep on pounding it. He threshes it under the wheels of a cart, but he doesn’t pulverize it.

“ Simon, Simon, look out. Satan has asked to sift you like wheat.But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

He replied,“ The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man;the field is the world; and the good seed— these are the children of the kingdom. The weeds are the children of the evil one,and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.Therefore, just as the weeds are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom all who cause sin and those guilty of lawlessness.They will throw them into the blazing furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom. Let anyone who has ears listen.

for I am about to give the command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations, as one shakes a sieve, but not a pebble will fall to the ground.

For it is written in the law of Moses, Do not muzzle an ox while it treads out grain. Is God really concerned about oxen?Isn’t he really saying it for our sake? Yes, this is written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes should thresh in hope of sharing the crop.

Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit.

His winnowing shovel is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn. But the chaff he will burn with fire that never goes out.”

For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

My people who have been crushed on the threshing floor, I have declared to you what I have heard from the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel.
