耕而播種者、豈日服於耕乎、豈恆墾而耙其土乎、

農夫於田、終日勤勞、豈徒耕耘、亦將播種、

農夫欲播種、豈終日終日或作日日下同耕地、終日墾地乎、

When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually? Does he keep on breaking up and working the soil?

When a farmer plows in order to plant, does he plow without stopping? Does he keep on breaking up the soil and making the field level?

Does he who plows for sowing plow continually? Does he continually open and harrow his ground?

Does a farmer always plow and never sow? Is he forever cultivating the soil and never planting?

Does the farmer plow continually to plant seed? Does he continually turn and break up his ground?

Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow? Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods?

Doth he that ploweth to sow plow continually? doth he continually open and harrow his ground?

For this is what the LORD says to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: Break up the unplowed ground; do not sow among the thorns.

Ephraim is a well-trained calf that loves to thresh, but I will place a yoke on her fine neck. I will harness Ephraim; Judah will plow; Jacob will do the final plowing.Sow righteousness for yourselves and reap faithful love; break up your unplowed ground. It is time to seek the LORD until he comes and sends righteousness on you like the rain.
