爾曹勿復侮慢、恐爾之縲絏加嚴、我聞萬有之主耶和華、已定厥命、將殲滅斯境矣。

今爾勿嘲笑、恐爾之縲絏愈加嚴緊、蓋我聞主萬有之天主已定厥命、必殲滅全地、○

Now stop your mocking, or your chains will become heavier; the Lord, the Lord Almighty, has told me of the destruction decreed against the whole land.

Now stop making fun of me. If you don’t, your chains will become heavier. The Lord who rules over all has spoken to me. The Lord has told me he has ordered that the whole land be destroyed.

Now therefore do not scoff, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard a decree of destruction from the Lord God of hosts against the whole land.

For the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, has plainly said that he is determined to crush the whole land. So scoff no more, or your punishment will be even greater.

So now, do not scoff, or your shackles will become stronger. Indeed, I have heard from the Lord GOD of Armies a decree of destruction for the whole land.

Now therefore, do not be mockers, Lest your bonds be made strong; For I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts, A destruction determined even upon the whole earth.

Now therefore be ye not scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for a decree of destruction have I heard from the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, upon the whole earth.

So now, do not mock, or your chains will become heavier! For I have heard a message about decreed destruction, from the sovereign master, the LORD who commands armies, against the entire land.

For though your people, Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, Only a remnant within them will return; A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.For a complete destruction, one that is determined, the Lord God of armies will execute in the midst of the whole land.

Therefore, see that the thing spoken of in the Prophets does not come upon you:‘ Look, you scoffers, and be astonished, and perish; For I am accomplishing a work in your days, A work which you will never believe, though someone should describe it to you.’ ”

Lord, You persuaded me and I let myself be persuaded; You have overcome me and prevailed. I have become a laughingstock all day long; Everyone mocks me.

Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,For the land of my people in which thorns and briars will come up; Indeed, for all the joyful houses and for the jubilant city.For the palace has been neglected, the populated city abandoned. Hill and watch tower have become caves forever, A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks,

Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, you scoffers, Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem,Because you have said,“ We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we have made a pact. The gushing flood will not reach us when it passes by, Because we have made falsehood our refuge and we have concealed ourselves with deception.”

The yoke of my wrongdoings is bound; By His hand they are woven together. They have come upon my neck; He has made my strength fail. The Lord has handed me over To those against whom I am not able to stand.

and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against His people, until there was no remedy.

I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, and as far as Zebulun, but they laughed at them with scorn and mocked them.

The joy of the earth is banished.Desolation is left in the city And the gate is battered to ruins.For so it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, As the shaking of an olive tree, As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over.They raise their voices, they shout for joy; They cry out from the west concerning the majesty of the Lord.Therefore glorify the Lord in the east, The name of the Lord, the God of Israel, In the coastlands of the sea.From the ends of the earth we hear songs:“ Glory to the Righteous One,” But I say,“ I am finished! I am finished! Woe to me! The treacherous deal treacherously, And the treacherous deal very treacherously.”Terror and pit and snare Confront you, you inhabitant of the earth.Then it will be that the one who flees the sound of terror will fall into the pit, And the one who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the snare; For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.The earth is broken apart, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently.The earth trembles like a heavy drinker And sways like a hut, For its wrongdoing is heavy upon it, And it will fall, never to rise again.So it will happen on that day, That the Lord will punish the rebellious angels of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth.They will be gathered together Like prisoners in the dungeon, And will be confined in prison; And after many days they will be punished.Then the moon will be ashamed and the sun be put to shame, For the Lord of armies will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, And His glory will be before His elders.

For He has shattered gates of bronze And cut off bars of iron.

Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some began to scoff, but others said,“ We shall hear from you again concerning this.”

I did not sit in a circle of revelers and celebrate. Because of Your hand upon me I sat alone, For You filled me with indignation.

And the rebels who had been crucified with Him were also insulting Him in the same way.

And those passing by were speaking abusively to Him, shaking their heads,

Then after the sixty two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.And he will confirm a covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come the one who makes desolate, until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, gushes forth on the one who makes desolate.”

This entire land will be a place of ruins and an object of horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon for seventy years.

Therefore the Lord brought the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria against them, and they captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze chains, and led him to Babylon.

He then blinded Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him in shackles of bronze to bring him to Babylon.
