Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it.

你們說：「我們已經和死亡立約，與陰間結盟。災難席捲而來的時候，我們會安然無恙，因為我們以謊言為庇護所，以詭詐為藏身處。」

但主耶和華說，『這陰謀必無法得逞。

你們設計謀吧，但休想得逞！你們定策略吧，但休想成功！因為上帝與我們同在。

以法蓮酒徒引以為榮的華冠必被踐踏。

毀滅高聳的城樓和堅固的城牆，

六十二個七之後，受膏者必被殺害，一無所有。另有一王要興起，他的臣民要毀滅這城和聖所。結局必如洪水沖來，戰爭將持續到末了，到處一片荒涼——這已經註定。那王必與許多人締結一七之久的盟約。一七之半，他必終止祭牲和供物，並且設立帶來毀滅的可憎之物，直到所定的結局臨到這惡者。」

天使又對我說：「你看見的那淫婦所坐的眾水象徵來自各民族、各國家、各語言族群的人。

其中一個角又長出一個小角，向南方、東方和佳美之地擴張勢力。它逐漸強大，高及天軍，將一些天軍和星宿拋到地上，用腳踐踏。它狂妄自大，要與天軍的統帥比高，它廢除日常獻給祂的祭，毀壞祂的聖所。因為反叛的緣故，天軍和日常所獻的祭都交給了它。它將真理拋在地上，它所行的無不順利。接著，我聽見一位聖者在說話，另一位聖者問他：「異象中出現的有關日常所獻的祭，毀滅性的反叛和踐踏聖所及天軍的事要持續多久呢？」

席捲猶大，使整個猶大幾遭滅頂之災。他必展開雙翼橫掃你的土地。」願上帝與我們同在！

「萬軍之耶和華說，『那日要來臨了，就像燒紅的火爐，所有狂妄自大、作惡多端的人都要像碎稭一樣被火燒盡，連根帶枝，蕩然無存。但必有公義的太陽為你們這些敬畏我名的人升起，它的光芒有醫治的能力。你們必像欄中出來的牛犢一樣歡欣跳躍。到我所定的日子，你們必踐踏惡人，他們必成為你們腳下的塵土。』這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

耶和華說：「看啊，大水將從北方漲溢，形成一道洪流，淹沒大地和地上的一切，吞噬城邑和其中的居民。人們必呼喊，地上的居民必哀哭。

然而，我吩咐我僕人——眾先知的訓言和律例豈不應驗在你們祖先的頭上了嗎？後來他們悔改了，說，萬軍之耶和華按著我們的所作所為報應了我們，正如祂所言。』」

後來，猶大王背叛了巴比倫王，派使者到埃及請求支援軍隊馬匹。他能成功嗎？他這樣做怎能逃脫懲罰呢？他這樣背約怎能逃脫懲罰呢？

「到了末後，南方王必與北方王交戰。北方王必率領戰車、騎兵和大批戰船攻擊他，又如洪水般橫掃列國。

巨龍緊追不捨，張口吐出大量的水，如同江河一般，要沖走那婦人，

刀下餘生、從埃及返回猶大的人必寥寥無幾。那時，你們這些去埃及住的猶大人必知道誰的話會實現，是我的還是你們的。
