大卫也说：“愿他们的宴席成为网罗、陷阱、绊脚石，给他们带来报应；

祂必作人的圣所，也要作以色列和犹大的绊脚石和使人跌倒的磐石，作耶路撒冷居民的陷阱和网罗。许多人必被绊倒，摔得粉身碎骨；他们必被网罗缠住、捕获。”

祂说：“你去告诉以色列人，“‘你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却不领悟。’要让这些人心灵麻木，耳朵发背，眼睛昏花，免得他们眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回心转意，就得到医治。”

所以，对你们信的人而言，这石头是宝贵的；但对那些不信的人来说，却是：“工匠丢弃的石头，已成了房角石。”也是：“绊脚石和使人跌倒的磐石。”他们跌倒是因为他们不顺服真道，这种下场早已注定了。
