祸哉！以法莲的酒徒，住在肥美谷的山上，他们心里高傲，以所夸的为冠冕，犹如将残之花。

祸哉！以法莲酒徒高傲的冠冕，其荣美竟如花凋残；他们在肥沃的山谷顶上，被酒击败。

禍哉！以法蓮酒徒的高傲冠冕——榮耀華美的將殘之花！它就在醉酒人肥沃之谷的山頂上。

禍哉、以法蓮醉者高傲之冠冕、及其美飾之殘花、在膏腴山谷之上、其民沉湎於酒、

以法蓮人沈湎於酒、其邑建於膏腴平原之岡、狀如華冠、華美莊嚴、遂以自誇、不知實似將殘之花、禍哉禍哉、或作以法蓮建都於高岡在膏腴之谷中狀若華冠其人沈湎於酒心高志傲不知其榮如將殘之花禍哉禍哉

Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim’s drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley— to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine!

How terrible it will be for the city of Samaria! It sits on a hill like a wreath of flowers. The leaders of Ephraim are drunk. They take pride in their city. It sits above a valley that has rich soil. How terrible it will be for the glorious beauty of that fading flower!

Ah, the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley of those overcome with wine!

What sorrow awaits the proud city of Samaria— the glorious crown of the drunks of Israel. It sits at the head of a fertile valley, but its glorious beauty will fade like a flower. It is the pride of a people brought down by wine.

Woe to the majestic crown of Ephraim’s drunkards, and to the fading flower of its beautiful splendor, which is on the summit above the rich valley. Woe to those overcome with wine.

我王誕辰、百官飲酒逾量、遂至疾病、王喜與侮慢者為伍、

以法蓮建都山巔、望之若冠花冠、四周有谷、土壤膏腴、民人沉湎於酒、心志驕奢、不知浮榮易悴、竟遭蹂躪、亦如夏之無花果、人一見之、則摘而食焉。

斯邦之人、自祭司至先知、縱飲無度、沉湎於酒、至於跬步不能自主、雖目睹異象、而心志仍昏、雖為民折中、而剖決不明。

淫行酒醴、喪人心術、

在以色列家所行奇惡、我見之矣、以法蓮行淫、以色列污衊、

猶大族棄列祖之上帝耶和華、故哩馬利子比迦、於一日間、殺其壯士十二萬人。

以色列被奪之地、耶羅破暗恢復之、自哈末境、至平原之海、昔以色列族上帝耶和華、曾以是言、命先知甲希弗人、亞米太子約拿、今其言應矣。以色列族曾遘患難、困苦備嘗、其中或主或僕、均無匡助、惟耶和華垂顧焉。嘗有預言、不欲殲滅以色列族於天下、故使約瞎子耶羅破暗為之援手。

人耽於酒、醞釀佳醴、為量甚大者、必有禍矣。

比迦在位之時、亞述王滴臘比利斯至、陷以雲、亞伯伯馬迦、雜挪、基特、夏朔、基列、加利利、納大利四境、擄其民人、至於亞述。

王與群伯、使趨承者致書、遍以色列猶大二族、曰、以色列族、當歸亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列之上帝、凡不見害於亞述列王之遺民者、必蒙耶和華祐、爾父兄違列祖之上帝耶和華、故見殲滅、今日之事為證、爾勿效尤。

以色列國雄長列邦、其中有名之人、為民所歸、然在郇邑、耽於逸樂、在撒馬利亞山、宴然居處、其禍必不遠矣、

越至三年、即以色列王何西九年、希西家王六年、其城乃陷、亞述王虜以色列族至亞述、置於坷散河旁之哈臘、哈拔、及米太族諸邑。以色列族不遵其上帝耶和華命、背其約、不聽從其僕摩西所傳之禁令、故遘此災。○

爾使離世故者飲酒、使為先知者、不播訓言、

誰遭禍患、誰起爭競、誰搆怨尤、誰目赤身傷、出於無因、

以最巨之盂、盛酒醴、以至貴之油、膏肌膚、於約瑟之難、毫不矜憫、其禍必不遠矣。

使以法蓮、撒馬利亞居民、無不共知、彼心驕志傲、常自言曰、

其人夙興、縱飲無度、迨至薄暮、更覺沉湎、若此必有禍患、

亞蘭以大馬色為都、大馬色以哩汛為王、以法蓮以撒馬利亞為都、撒馬利亞以哩馬利子為王、未及六十五載、以法蓮族必敗、國不成國、如爾不信、亦弗能恆存。

以色列族驕侈、惡跡已彰、必與以法蓮偕亡、猶大族亦必與之俱喪、

彼取人之衣為質、陳於祭壇之前、偃卧於上、彼罰人供酒、飲於其上帝殿、

曰、子尚幼、未知呼其父母、大馬色及撒馬利亞之貨財、必為亞述王所虜。
