祸哉！以法莲酒徒的高傲冠冕——荣耀华美的将残之花！它就在醉酒人肥沃之谷的山顶上。

禍哉！以法蓮的酒徒，住在肥美谷的山上，他們心裏高傲，以所誇的為冠冕，猶如將殘之花。

禍哉！以法蓮酒徒高傲的冠冕，其榮美竟如花凋殘；他們在肥沃的山谷頂上，被酒擊敗。

以法蓮被酒灌倒的醉漢高傲的華冠有禍啊！他那燦爛美麗、行將凋殘之花、在肥美平谷之山頂上的、有禍啊！

禍哉！以法蓮酒徒的高傲冠冕——榮耀華美的將殘之花！它就在醉酒人肥沃之谷的山頂上。

禍哉、以法蓮醉者高傲之冠冕、及其美飾之殘花、在膏腴山谷之上、其民沉湎於酒、

以法蓮建都於山嶺、望之若冠花冠、四周有谷、土壤膏腴、民人沉湎於酒、心志驕奢、不知浮榮易悴、禍將作矣。

以法蓮人沈湎於酒、其邑建於膏腴平原之岡、狀如華冠、華美莊嚴、遂以自誇、不知實似將殘之花、禍哉禍哉、或作以法蓮建都於高岡在膏腴之谷中狀若華冠其人沈湎於酒心高志傲不知其榮如將殘之花禍哉禍哉

Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim’s drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley— to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine!

How terrible it will be for the city of Samaria! It sits on a hill like a wreath of flowers. The leaders of Ephraim are drunk. They take pride in their city. It sits above a valley that has rich soil. How terrible it will be for the glorious beauty of that fading flower!

Ah, the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley of those overcome with wine!

What sorrow awaits the proud city of Samaria— the glorious crown of the drunks of Israel. It sits at the head of a fertile valley, but its glorious beauty will fade like a flower. It is the pride of a people brought down by wine.

Woe to the majestic crown of Ephraim’s drunkards, and to the fading flower of its beautiful splendor, which is on the summit above the rich valley. Woe to those overcome with wine.

Woe to the proud crown of the habitually drunk of Ephraim, And to the fading flower of its glorious beauty, Which is at the head of the fertile valley Of those who are overcome with wine!

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, Whose glorious beauty is a fading flower Which is at the head of the verdant valleys, To those who are overcome with wine!

The splendid crown of Ephraim’s drunkards is doomed, the withering flower, its beautiful splendor, situated at the head of a rich valley, the crown of those overcome with wine.

君王宴樂的時候，首領們醉酒成病，君王也與輕慢上帝的人聯手。

以法蓮酒徒引以為榮的華冠必被踐踏。那肥美山谷上將殘的榮美之花，必像夏季到來之前早熟的無花果，人一看見它就把它摘去吞掉。

但祭司和先知也因喝酒而搖搖晃晃，因烈酒而東倒西歪。他們因烈酒而搖搖晃晃、酩酊大醉、東倒西歪，他們錯解異象，糊塗判案。

沉溺酒色，喪失心志。

我在以色列家看見了可怕之事，以法蓮不忠不貞，玷污了自己。

利瑪利的兒子比加一天之內殺了猶大十二萬勇士，因為他們背棄了他們祖先的上帝耶和華。

他收復了從哈馬口到死海一帶的以色列邊境，正如以色列的上帝耶和華藉祂僕人迦特希弗人亞米太的兒子約拿先知所言。因為耶和華看見以色列人，無論自由人還是奴隸都十分痛苦，沒有人幫助他們。耶和華沒有說要從世上抹去以色列的名，因此他藉著約阿施的兒子耶羅波安拯救他們。

那些以豪飲稱霸、善於調酒的人有禍了！

以色列王比加執政期間，亞述王提革拉·毗列色來犯，奪取了以雲、亞伯·伯·瑪迦、亞挪、基低斯和夏瑣，佔領了基列、加利利及拿弗他利全境，把那裡的居民擄往亞述。

信差遵照王的命令帶著王和眾官員的信走遍以色列和猶大，宣告說：「以色列人啊，你們應當歸向亞伯拉罕、以撒和以色列的上帝耶和華，好使祂轉向你們這些從亞述王手中逃脫的餘民。不要效法你們的祖先和親族，他們對他們祖先的上帝耶和華不忠，以致耶和華使他們的下場很可怕，正如你們所見的。

在錫安生活安逸舒適的人啊，你們有禍了！在撒瑪利亞山上自覺無憂的人啊，你們有禍了！你們是列國之首以色列的顯要，以色列人都仰望你們。

三年之後，就是希西迦執政第六年，以色列王何細亞執政第九年，撒瑪利亞失陷。亞述王把以色列人擄到亞述，將他們安置在哈臘、歌散的哈博河一帶以及瑪代人的城邑裡。這都是因為以色列人沒有聽從他們的上帝耶和華，違背了祂的約，不遵行祂僕人摩西所吩咐的一切。

可是，你們迫使拿細耳人喝酒，禁止先知傳達我的話。

誰有災禍？誰有憂傷？誰有爭吵？誰有怨言？誰無故受傷？誰兩眼發紅？

你們以大碗狂飲，用上等膏油抹身，卻漠不關心約瑟家的衰亡。

住在以法蓮和撒瑪利亞的以色列人都知道。他們驕傲自大地說：

那些從清早到深夜貪杯好酒，喝到酩酊大醉的人有禍了！

亞蘭的都城是大馬士革，大馬士革的首領是利迅。六十五年之內，以色列必亡國。以色列的都城是撒瑪利亞，撒瑪利亞的首領是利瑪利的兒子。你們信心若不堅定，必無法堅立。』」

以色列被自己的傲慢指控，以色列和以法蓮要跌倒在自己的罪中，猶大也要一同跌倒。

在每座祭壇旁邊，他們把窮人典當的衣服鋪開，躺在上面，又在上帝的殿裡喝剝削來的酒。

因為這孩子會叫父親母親之前，亞述王必把大馬士革的財富和撒瑪利亞的戰利品洗劫一空。」
