因此藉著以下的事，雅各的罪孽才得以贖清：他要使祭壇的所有石頭都變為粉碎的灰石，使亞舍拉和香壇不再豎立——這必成為他罪被除掉的全部果效。

雅各之愆得宥、其罪見除之果、在於使壇石糜爛如灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

若此則雅各之罪、可以滌除、其惡亦堪洗濯、毀祭臺之石、使之成灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

故雅各之愆尤、以此得蒙赦免、斯災所結之果、即除其罪惡、因其毀祭壇之石、使如已碎之灰石、而亞舍拉亞舍拉或作木偶與日像不復立焉、

By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones to be like limestone crushed to pieces, no Asherah poles or incense altars will be left standing.

The people of Jacob will have to pay for their sin. Here is how they will show that their sin has been removed. They will make all the altar stones like limestone. They will crush them to pieces. No poles used to worship the female god named Asherah will be left standing. No incense altars will be left either.

Therefore by this the guilt of Jacob will be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: when he makes all the stones of the altars like chalk stones crushed to pieces, no Asherim or incense altars will remain standing.

The Lord did this to purge Israel’s wickedness, to take away all her sin. As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust. No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be atoned for in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

Therefore through this Jacob’s wrongdoing will be forgiven; And this will be the full price of the pardoning of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones like pulverized chalk stones; When Asherim and incense altars will not stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be covered; And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: When he makes all the stones of the altar Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust, Wooden images and incense altars shall not stand.

Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, so that the Asherim and the sun- images shall rise no more.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be purged in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this[ is] all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.

So in this way Jacob’s sin will be forgiven, and this is how they will show they are finished sinning: They will make all the stones of the altars like crushed limestone, and the Asherah poles and the incense altars will no longer stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more.

他们必不仰望祭坛，就是自己手所筑的，也不重看自己指头所做的，无论是木偶是日像。

必有万军耶和华降罚的一个日子，要临到骄傲狂妄的；一切自高的都必降为卑；又临到黎巴嫩高大的香柏树和巴珊的橡树；又临到一切高山的峻岭；又临到高台和坚固城墙；又临到他施的船只并一切可爱的美物。骄傲的必屈膝；狂妄的必降卑。在那日，惟独耶和华被尊崇；偶像必全然废弃。耶和华兴起，使地大震动的时候，人就进入石洞，进入土穴，躲避耶和华的惊吓和他威严的荣光。到那日，人必将为拜而造的金偶像、银偶像抛给田鼠和蝙蝠。到耶和华兴起，使地大震动的时候，人好进入磐石洞中和岩石穴里，躲避耶和华的惊吓和他威严的荣光。

我必从你中间除灭雕刻的偶像和柱像，你就不再跪拜自己手所造的。我必从你中间拔出木偶，又毁灭你的城邑。

又在犹大各城邑除掉邱坛和日像，那时国享太平；

耶和华殿的铜柱，并耶和华殿的盆座和铜海，迦勒底人都打碎了，将那铜运到巴比伦去了，又带去锅、铲子、蜡剪、调羹，并所用的一切铜器，火鼎、碗，无论金的银的，护卫长也都带去了。所罗门为耶和华殿所造的两根铜柱、一个铜海，和几个盆座，这一切的铜，多得无法可称。这一根柱子高十八肘，柱上有铜顶，高三肘；铜顶的周围有网子和石榴，都是铜的。那一根柱子，照此一样，也有网子。

万军之耶和华说：“那日，我必从地上除灭偶像的名，不再被人记念；也必使这地不再有假先知与污秽的灵。

以法莲必说：‘我与偶像还有什么关涉呢？’我耶和华回答他，也必顾念他。我如青翠的松树；你的果子从我而得。”

用火焚烧耶和华的殿和王宫，又焚烧耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大户家的房屋。

把锅倒空坐在炭火上，使锅烧热，使铜烧红，熔化其中的污秽，除净其上的锈。这锅劳碌疲乏，所长的大锈仍未除掉；这锈就是用火也不能除掉。在你污秽中有淫行，我洁净你，你却不洁净。你的污秽再不能洁净，直等我向你发的忿怒止息。我耶和华说过的必定成就，必照话而行，必不返回，必不顾惜，也不后悔。人必照你的举动行为审判你。这是主耶和华说的。”

众人在他面前拆毁巴力的坛，砍断坛上高高的日像，又把木偶和雕刻的像，并铸造的像打碎成灰，撒在祭偶像人的坟上，

他来的日子，谁能当得起呢？他显现的时候，谁能立得住呢？因为他如炼金之人的火，如漂布之人的碱。他必坐下如炼净银子的，必洁净利未人，熬炼他们像金银一样；他们就凭公义献供物给耶和华。

约萨达的儿子耶书亚和他的弟兄众祭司，并撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯与他的弟兄，都起来建筑以色列神的坛，要照神人摩西律法书上所写的，在坛上献燔祭。他们在原有的根基上筑坛，因惧怕邻国的民，又在其上向耶和华早晚献燔祭，

那等人必因你们所喜爱的橡树抱愧；你们必因所选择的园子蒙羞。

我受苦是与我有益，为要使我学习你的律例。

再者，我们曾有生身的父管教我们，我们尚且敬重他，何况万灵的父，我们岂不更当顺服他得生吗？生身的父都是暂随己意管教我们；惟有万灵的父管教我们，是要我们得益处，使我们在他的圣洁上有份。凡管教的事，当时不觉得快乐，反觉得愁苦；后来却为那经练过的人结出平安的果子，就是义。

却要拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的柱像，砍下他们的木偶。

他们必到那里，也必从其中除掉一切可憎可厌的物。

鞭伤除净人的罪恶；责打能入人的心腹。

我未受苦以先走迷了路，现在却遵守你的话。

因为主所爱的，他必管教，又鞭打凡所收纳的儿子。”

我必从你们中间除净叛逆和得罪我的人，将他们从所寄居的地方领出来，他们却不得入以色列地。你们就知道我是耶和华。

迦勒底人焚烧神的殿，拆毁耶路撒冷的城墙，用火烧了城里的宫殿，毁坏了城里宝贵的器皿。

因此，主万军之耶和华、以色列的大能者说：“哎！我要向我的对头雪恨，向我的敌人报仇。我必反手加在你身上，炼尽你的渣滓，除净你的杂质。

我们受审的时候，乃是被主惩治，免得我们和世人一同定罪。
