雅各之愆得宥、其罪見除之果、在於使壇石糜爛如灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

若此則雅各之罪、可以滌除、其惡亦堪洗濯、毀祭臺之石、使之成灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

故雅各之愆尤、以此得蒙赦免、斯災所結之果、即除其罪惡、因其毀祭壇之石、使如已碎之灰石、而亞舍拉亞舍拉或作木偶與日像不復立焉、

By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones to be like limestone crushed to pieces, no Asherah poles or incense altars will be left standing.

The people of Jacob will have to pay for their sin. Here is how they will show that their sin has been removed. They will make all the altar stones like limestone. They will crush them to pieces. No poles used to worship the female god named Asherah will be left standing. No incense altars will be left either.

Therefore by this the guilt of Jacob will be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: when he makes all the stones of the altars like chalk stones crushed to pieces, no Asherim or incense altars will remain standing.

The Lord did this to purge Israel’s wickedness, to take away all her sin. As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust. No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be atoned for in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

Therefore through this Jacob’s wrongdoing will be forgiven; And this will be the full price of the pardoning of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones like pulverized chalk stones; When Asherim and incense altars will not stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be covered; And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: When he makes all the stones of the altar Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust, Wooden images and incense altars shall not stand.

Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, so that the Asherim and the sun- images shall rise no more.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be purged in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this[ is] all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.

So in this way Jacob’s sin will be forgiven, and this is how they will show they are finished sinning: They will make all the stones of the altars like crushed limestone, and the Asherah poles and the incense altars will no longer stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more.

他们必不仰望自己手所做的祭坛，也不注视自己指头所做的亚舍拉和香坛。

那些明达的人中有一些倒下，是为了熬炼、洁净明达的人，使他们变得洁白，直到末后的时期，因为所定的时期还没来到。

因为必有万军之耶和华的一个日子，临到所有傲慢高傲的和所有自高的，使他们成为卑贱；又临到所有高耸挺拔的黎巴嫩香柏树和所有巴珊的橡树，临到所有的高山和所有的峻岭，临到所有高大的塔楼和所有坚固的城墙，临到所有塔尔施的船和所有华美的艇。到那日，人的高慢必会降卑，人的高傲必成卑贱；唯独耶和华被高举，而偶像必全然消逝。耶和华起来震动大地的时候，人必进入磐石穴、土洞中，躲避耶和华令人恐惧的面和他威严的荣光。到那日，人必把那些为敬拜而造的金偶像和银偶像抛给田鼠和蝙蝠；这是为了在耶和华起来震动大地的时候，他们能进入磐石缝、岩隙中，躲避耶和华令人恐惧的面和他威严的荣光。

因为主必藉着审判之灵和焚烧之灵，洗净锡安女子的污秽，又除净耶路撒冷中杀人流血的罪。

不过他来的日子，谁能承受得起呢？他显现的时候，谁能站立得住呢？因为他像炼金之人的火，又像漂布之人的碱。他必安坐像熬炼、洁净银子之人，洁净利未的子孙，精炼他们像精炼金银那样；他们就必藉着公义向耶和华献供物。

你们必因你们所喜爱的橡树而蒙羞，因你们所选择的园林而抱愧。

我受磨炼使我受益，好让我学习你的律例。

再者，我们有肉身的父亲来管教我们，我们尚且敬重他们，何况对这位万灵之父，我们难道不更要服从他而活着吗？肉身的父亲在短暂的日子里，固然照着自己的意思来管教我们；但万灵之父是为了我们的益处管教我们，好使我们在他的圣洁上有份。不过所有的管教，当时虽然不觉得是愉快的事，反觉得是忧伤的事，而后来却为那些由此受到操练的人，结出平安和义行的果子。

鞭伤能洁净人的邪恶；责打能洁净人的内心深处。

在我受磨炼之前，我是迷失的；而现在，我遵守你的言语。

因为主所爱的人，主都管教；他所接纳的每一个儿子，他都鞭打。”

因此，主万军之耶和华，以色列的大能者宣告：“啊！我要向我的敌人雪恨，向我的仇敌施行报复！我必转手对付你，如同用碱炼净你的渣滓，除尽你一切的杂质。

即使我们受惩罚，也是在受主的管教，免得我们和这世界一同被定罪。
