雅各之愆得宥、其罪見除之果、在於使壇石糜爛如灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

若此則雅各之罪、可以滌除、其惡亦堪洗濯、毀祭臺之石、使之成灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

故雅各之愆尤、以此得蒙赦免、斯災所結之果、即除其罪惡、因其毀祭壇之石、使如已碎之灰石、而亞舍拉亞舍拉或作木偶與日像不復立焉、

By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones to be like limestone crushed to pieces, no Asherah poles or incense altars will be left standing.

The people of Jacob will have to pay for their sin. Here is how they will show that their sin has been removed. They will make all the altar stones like limestone. They will crush them to pieces. No poles used to worship the female god named Asherah will be left standing. No incense altars will be left either.

Therefore by this the guilt of Jacob will be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: when he makes all the stones of the altars like chalk stones crushed to pieces, no Asherim or incense altars will remain standing.

The Lord did this to purge Israel’s wickedness, to take away all her sin. As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust. No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be atoned for in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

Therefore through this Jacob’s wrongdoing will be forgiven; And this will be the full price of the pardoning of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones like pulverized chalk stones; When Asherim and incense altars will not stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be covered; And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: When he makes all the stones of the altar Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust, Wooden images and incense altars shall not stand.

Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, so that the Asherim and the sun- images shall rise no more.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be purged in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this[ is] all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.

So in this way Jacob’s sin will be forgiven, and this is how they will show they are finished sinning: They will make all the stones of the altars like crushed limestone, and the Asherah poles and the incense altars will no longer stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more.

他們必不仰望自己雙手所做的祭壇，也不再看著自己指頭所做的，無論是亞舍拉，或是香壇。

因為萬軍之耶和華必有一日，要攻擊一切驕傲的、狂妄的，和所有高抬自己的，他們都要降卑。又要攻擊黎巴嫩所有高大的香柏樹，和巴珊所有的橡樹。又攻擊所有的高山，和所有的峻嶺；攻擊每一個高臺，和每一道堅固的城牆；攻擊所有他施的船隻，和所有美麗的船。人的高傲必變為謙虛，人的狂妄都必降為卑微，在那日，唯獨耶和華被高舉。偶像卻必全然消逝。耶和華起來，使大地震動的時候，人必進入石洞，進入土穴，躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。到那日，人必把那些自己所做、供自己敬拜的金偶像和銀偶像，拋給田鼠和蝙蝠。這樣，當耶和華起來，大地震動的時候，他們就能進入磐石縫中和巖石隙裡，躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。

我必從你中間除掉你雕刻的偶像和柱像，你就不再跪拜你手所做的；我必從你中間除滅你的亞舍拉，毀滅你的偶像。

他又在猶大各城中，除掉邱壇和香壇。那時全國在他的統治下享受太平。

耶和華殿的銅柱，以及耶和華殿的銅座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，把銅運到巴比倫去。他們又把鍋、鏟子、燭剪、碟子和敬拜用的一切銅器都拿去了。此外，火鼎和碗，無論是金的或是銀的，護衛長都拿去了。所羅門為耶和華殿所做的兩根銅柱、一個銅海和十個銅座，這一切器皿的銅，重得無法可稱。銅柱每根高八公尺，柱上有銅柱頭；柱頭高一公尺三公寸，柱頭四周有網子和石榴都是銅的；另一根柱子同樣也有網子。

“到那日（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告），我必從這地除掉偶像的名號，它們不再被人記念；我也必從這地除去假先知和污穢的靈。

主要用審判的靈和焚燒的靈把錫安女子的污穢洗去，又把耶路撒冷中間的血腥洗淨。

以法蓮與偶像還有甚麼關係呢？答允他的是我，看顧他的也是我。我像一棵青翠的松樹，你的果子是從我而得。”

他放火焚燒耶和華的殿和王宮，以及耶路撒冷一切房屋；一切高大的房屋，他都放火燒了。

然後把空鍋放在炭火上，使鍋燒熱，使銅燒紅，使其中的污穢熔化，使它的鏽得以除淨。這鍋真叫人疲累！它厚厚的鏽總沒法除掉，就是用火也不能除掉。你的污穢就是淫蕩。我想要潔淨你，你卻不願意潔淨，所以你的污穢再不能得到潔淨，直等到我向你發的烈怒止息。我耶和華已經說了。時候到了，我必成就；我必不退縮，必不顧惜，也不改變心意；我必照著你的所作所為審判你。這是主耶和華的宣告。’”

眾人在他面前拆毀了巴力的祭壇，他親自打碎了壇上高高的香壇，又把亞舍拉、雕像和鑄像砍碎成灰，撒在向這些偶像獻過祭的人的墳上。

可是，他來的日子，誰能當得起呢？他顯現的時候，誰能站立得住呢？因為他像煉金之人的火，又像漂布之人的鹼。他必坐著，像熬煉和潔淨銀子的人；他必潔淨利未人，煉淨他們像煉淨金銀一樣。這樣，他們就會憑公義獻禮物給耶和華。

約薩達的兒子耶書亞和作祭司的親族，撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和他的兄弟都起來，建築以色列神的祭壇，為要照著神人摩西律法書上所寫的，在祭壇上獻燔祭。因為他們懼怕當地的居民，就在殿的原有根基上建立祭壇，在祭壇上向耶和華獻燔祭，就是早晚的燔祭。

你們必因你們所喜愛的橡樹抱愧，必因你們所選擇的園子蒙羞。

我受苦是對我有益的，為要使我學習你的律例。

還有，肉身的父親管教我們，我們尚且敬重他們；何況那萬靈的父，我們不是更要順服他而得生嗎？肉身的父親照著自己的意思管教我們，只有短暫的日子；唯有神管教我們，是為著我們的好處，使我們在他的聖潔上有分。但是一切管教，在當時似乎不覺得快樂，反覺得痛苦；後來卻為那些經過這種操練的人，結出平安的果子來，就是義。

他們的祭壇你們卻要拆毀，他們的柱像你們要打碎，他們的亞舍拉你們要砍下。

他們必回到那裡，也必除掉那裡所有可厭的偶像和所有可憎之物。

鞭傷能除淨人的邪惡，責打能洗淨人的臟腑。

我受苦以先，犯了錯誤；現在我謹守你的話。

因為主所愛的，他必管教，他又鞭打所收納的每一個兒子。”

我必從你們中間除淨那些背叛和得罪我的人，我雖把他們從寄居之地領出來，可是他們不得進入以色列地；這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。

迦勒底人燒了神的殿，拆毀了耶路撒冷的城牆，用火燒了城裡所有的宮殿，又毀壞了城裡一切珍貴的器皿。

因此，主萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者說：“哎！我要向我的對頭雪恨，向我的仇敵報復。我必把手轉過來攻擊你；我要煉除你的渣滓，如同用鹼來煉一樣，我要除去你的一切雜質。

然而我們被主審判的時候，是受他的管教，免得和世人一同被定罪。
