On that day the Lord will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.

到那日，耶和华要施用他锐利、巨大和有力的刀，惩罚鳄鱼，就是那快行的蛇；惩罚鳄鱼，就是那曲行的蛇；并且要杀海中的大龙。

到那日，耶和华必用他严酷、巨大、有力的刀，惩罚利维亚坦，就是那逃窜的蛇；惩罚利维亚坦，就是那蜷曲的蛇；并且杀死海中的巨兽。

當那日子、永恆主必用他剛硬巨大有力的刀來察罰飛奔蛇鱷魚，察罰曲行蛇鱷魚，並殺那在海中的大獸。

到那日，耶和華必用他嚴酷、巨大、有力的刀，懲罰利維亞坦，就是那逃竄的蛇；懲罰利維亞坦，就是那蜷曲的蛇；並且殺死海中的巨獸。

是日也、耶和華以其堅剛且鉅之刃、罰彼鱷魚、即滑汰之蛇、罰彼鱷魚、即蟠屈之蛇、並戮海中之龍焉、○

爰有敵人、若海中之鱷魚、其體雄偉、其行迅速、盤曲若蛇、當斯時也、耶和華將持巨刃、堅利無儔、以剪斯敵。

當是日主將以堅利巨刃、殺利未雅坦急趨之蛇、殺利未雅坦盤曲之蛇、並殺海中之龍、

In that day, the Lord will punish with his sword— his fierce, great and powerful sword— Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea.

At that time the Lord will punish Leviathan with his sword. His great, powerful and deadly sword will punish the serpent that glides through the sea. He will kill that twisting sea monster.

In that day the Lord with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.

In that day the Lord will take his terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.

On that day the LORD with his relentless, large, strong sword will bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent— Leviathan, the twisting serpent. He will slay the monster that is in the sea.

In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.

In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.

On that day the Lord with His harsh, great, and strong sword, will bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent— Leviathan, the twisting serpent. He will slay the monster that is in the sea.

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that[ is] in the sea.

At that time the LORD will punish with his destructive, great, and powerful sword Leviathan the fast-moving serpent, Leviathan the squirming serpent; he will kill the sea monster.

In that day, Yahweh with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.

For the Lord will execute judgment by fire And by His sword on humanity, And those put to death by the Lord will be many.

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; Awake as in the days of old, the generations of long ago. Was it not You who cut Rahab in pieces, Who pierced the dragon?

Speak and say,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, The great monster that lies in the midst of his canals, That has said,‘ My Nile is mine, and I myself have made it.’

Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven crowns.And his tail* swept away a third of the stars of heaven and hurled them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her Child.And she gave birth to a Son, a male, who is going to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her Child was caught up to God and to His throne.Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she* had a place prepared by God, so that there she would be nourished for 1,260 days.And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war,and they did not prevail, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.For this reason, rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she* was nourished for a time, times, and half a time, away from the presence of the serpent.And the serpent hurled water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood.But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon had hurled out of his mouth.So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads were blasphemous names.And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne, and great authority.

The ships move along there, And Leviathan, which You have formed to have fun in it.

By His breath the heavens are cleared; His hand has pierced the fleeing serpent.

You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.

And he took hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will do no evil or harm on all My holy mountain,” says the Lord.

Therefore repent; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will wage war against them with the sword of My mouth.

For behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their wrongdoing; And the earth will reveal her bloodshed And will no longer cover her slain.

May those curse it who curse the day, Who are prepared to disturb Leviathan.

Then Job responded,“ Truly then you are the people, And with you wisdom will die!But I have intelligence as well as you; I am not inferior to you. And who does not know such things as these?I am a joke to my friends, The one who called on God and He answered him; The just and blameless man is a joke.He who is at ease holds disaster in contempt, As prepared for those whose feet slip.The tents of the destroyers prosper, And those who provoke God are secure, Whom God brings into their power.“ But just ask the animals, and have them teach you; And the birds of the sky, and have them tell you.Or speak to the earth, and have it teach you; And have the fish of the sea tell you.Who among all these does not know That the hand of the Lord has done this,In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?Does the ear not put words to the test, As the palate tastes its food?Wisdom is with the aged, And with long life comes understanding.“ Wisdom and might are with Him; Advice and understanding belong to Him.Behold, He tears down, and it cannot be rebuilt; He imprisons a person, and there is no release.Behold, He restrains the waters, and they dry up; And He sends them out, and they inundate the earth.Strength and sound wisdom are with Him. One who goes astray and one who leads astray belong to Him.He makes advisers walk barefoot And makes fools of judges.He undoes the binding of kings, And ties a loincloth around their waist.He makes priests walk barefoot, And overthrows the secure ones.He deprives the trusted ones of speech, And takes away the discernment of the elders.He pours contempt on nobles, And loosens the belt of the strong.He reveals mysteries from the darkness, And brings the deep darkness into light.He makes the nations great, then destroys them; He enlarges the nations, then leads them away.He deprives the leaders of the earth’s people of intelligence And makes them wander in a pathless wasteland.They grope in darkness with no light, And He makes them stagger like a drunken person.

“ Son of man, take up a song of mourning over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him,‘ You compared yourself to a young lion of the nations, Yet you are like the monster in the seas; And you burst forth in your rivers And muddied the waters with your feet And fouled their rivers.’ ”This is what the Lord God says:“ Now I will spread My net over you With a contingent of many peoples, And they will lift you up in My net.I will leave you on the land; I will hurl you on the open field. And I will cause all the birds of the sky to nest on you, And I will satisfy the animals of the whole earth with you.I will lay your flesh on the mountains And fill the valleys with your refuse.

If I have sharpened My flashing sword, And My hand has taken hold of justice, I will return vengeance on My adversaries, And I will repay those who hate Me.I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword will devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the long haired leaders of the enemy.’

Strap Your sword on Your thigh, Mighty One, In Your splendor and majesty!

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.

they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying,“ Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?”

And he* said to me,“ The waters which you saw where the prostitute sits are peoples and multitudes, and nations and languages.

For My sword has drunk its fill in heaven; Behold it shall descend for judgment upon Edom, And upon the people whom I have designated for destruction.The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, It drips with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying,“ Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

You who live by many waters, Abundant in treasures, Your end has come, The measure of your end.

Ah, sword of the Lord, How long will you not be quiet? Withdraw into your sheath; Rest and stay still.

And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs;

“ He is the first of the ways of God; Let his Maker bring His sword near.

“ Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me, he has crushed me, He has set me down like an empty vessel; He has swallowed me like a monster, He has filled his stomach with my delicacies; He has washed me away.
