Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.

Lord, we are living the way your laws command us to live. We are waiting for you to act. We want your honor and fame to be known.

Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.

Yes, LORD, we wait for you in the path of your judgments. Our desire is for your name and renown.

Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls.

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door.As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

God also said to Moses,“ Say this to the people of Israel:‘ The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my beloved, that you tell him I am sick with love.

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done; I ponder the work of your hands.I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah

How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

O Lord, be gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.

“ For does not my house stand so with God? For he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and secure. For will he not cause to prosper all my help and my desire?

My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.

From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him.You meet him who joyfully works righteousness, those who remember you in your ways. Behold, you were angry, and we sinned; in our sins we have been a long time, and shall we be saved?

As an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the young men. I was blameless before him, and I kept myself from my guilt.

“ Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel.

And they were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and statutes of the Lord.
