Lord, we are living the way your laws command us to live. We are waiting for you to act. We want your honor and fame to be known.

In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, ye heard from me:

And I said, This is my infirmity; But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.I will make mention of the deeds of Jehovah; For I will remember thy wonders of old.I will meditate also upon all thy work, And muse on thy doings.

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, If ye find my beloved, That ye tell him, that I am sick from love.

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy doings; I muse on the work of thy hands.I spread forth my hands unto thee: My soul thirsteth after thee, as a weary land.[ Selah

How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou forget me for ever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

O Jehovah, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou our arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.

Verily my house is not so with God; Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things, and sure: For it is all my salvation, and all my desire, Although he maketh it not to grow.

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; My heart and my flesh cry out unto the living God.

For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen a God besides thee, who worketh for him that waiteth for him.Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou wast wroth, and we sinned: in them have we been of long time; and shall we be saved?

As the apple- tree among the trees of the wood, So is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, And his fruit was sweet to my taste.He brought me to the banqueting- house, And his banner over me was love.Stay ye me with raisins, refresh me with apples; For I am sick from love.

O God, thou art my God; earnestly will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee, In a dry and weary land, where no water is.So have I looked upon thee in the sanctuary, To see thy power and thy glory.Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.

I was also perfect with him, And I kept myself from mine iniquity.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Jehovah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Blessed are they that keep justice, And he that doeth righteousness at all times.

But as for me, I will look unto Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

But he knoweth the way that I take; When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.My foot hath held fast to his steps; His way have I kept, and turned not aside.I have not gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
