But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them.

The path of the righteous is level; you, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth.

The path of godly people is level. You are the God who does what is right. You make their way smooth.

I will lead blind Israel down a new path, guiding them along an unfamiliar way. I will brighten the darkness before them and smooth out the road ahead of them. Yes, I will indeed do these things; I will not forsake them.

Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous.

For the righteous Lord loves justice. The virtuous will see his face.

We can say with confidence and a clear conscience that we have lived with a God given holiness and sincerity in all our dealings. We have depended on God’s grace, not on our own human wisdom. That is how we have conducted ourselves before the world, and especially toward you.

So don’t make judgments about anyone ahead of time— before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due.

The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.

I am blameless before God; I have kept myself from sin.The Lord rewarded me for doing right. He has seen my innocence.To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity.To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.

I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.

Let God weigh me on the scales of justice, for he knows my integrity.

I will never concede that you are right; I will defend my integrity until I die.I will maintain my innocence without wavering. My conscience is clear for as long as I live.

And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there.

No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.“ Stop acting so proud and haughty! Don’t speak with such arrogance! For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done; he will judge your actions.The bow of the mighty is now broken, and those who stumbled are now strong.

But the Lord is in his holy Temple; the Lord still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth.

But the Lord is still there in the city, and he does no wrong. Day by day he hands down justice, and he does not fail. But the wicked know no shame.
