看哪！耶和華就要從自己的地方出來，懲罰地上居民的罪孽；地必顯露其中的血，不再遮蓋被殺的人。

蓋耶和華出於其所、以罰地上居民之罪、地將暴露其血、被殺之人、不復掩蓋、

越在疇昔、人殺選民、瘞埋其血、今必昭然顯露、蓋耶和華勃興、降罰於世、以彰厥罪焉。

蓋主離其所、欲討地上居民之罪、地必顯露流入其中之血、不復掩蓋其上見殺者之屍、

See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer.

He is coming from the place where he lives. He will punish the people of the earth for their sins. The blood spilled on the earth will be brought out into the open. The ground will no longer hide those who have been killed.

For look, the LORD is coming out of the place where he lives, to punish the sin of those who live on the earth. The earth will display the blood shed on it; it will no longer cover up its slain.

For Yahweh said to me,“ I will be still, and I will see in my dwelling place, like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”

I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity. I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will humble the arrogance of the terrible.

About these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying,“ Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

“ Earth, don’t cover my blood. Let my cry have no place to rest.

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But you will again see yet other great abominations.”

For they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this.”

Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.Yahweh’s glory mounted up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Yahweh’s glory.The sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.

You foolish ones, didn’t he who made the outside make the inside also?

What is the disobedience of Jacob? Isn’t it Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Aren’t they Jerusalem?Therefore I will make Samaria like a rubble heap of the field, like places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down its stones into the valley, and I will uncover its foundations.All her idols will be beaten to pieces, and all her temple gifts will be burned with fire, and all her images I will destroy; for of the hire of a prostitute has she gathered them, and to the hire of a prostitute shall they return.”For this I will lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will howl like the jackals, and moan like the daughters of owls.

“‘ You shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may come again to dwell in the land before the death of the priest.“‘ So you shall not pollute the land where you live; for blood pollutes the land. No atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had.They cried with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.

Therefore the Holy One of Israel says,“ Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely on it,therefore this iniquity shall be to you like a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly in an instant.He will break it as a potter’s vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing, so that there won’t be found among the broken pieces a piece good enough to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern.”

In her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on the earth.”

Yahweh’s glory went out from over the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.The cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went out, with the wheels beside them. Then they stood at the door of the east gate of Yahweh’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

Yahweh said,“ What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground.Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear in pieces and go away. I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver.I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”
