But your dead will live, Lord; their bodies will rise— let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy— your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead.

Lord, your people who have died will live again. Their bodies will rise from the dead. Let those who lie in the grave wake up and shout for joy. You give life, Lord, like the dew of the morning. So the earth will give up its dead people.

The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.And He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered,“ O Lord GOD, You know.”Again He said to me,“ Prophesy to these bones, and say to them,‘ O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones:“ Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”’”So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.Also He said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.Then He said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say,‘ Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’Therefore prophesy and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves.I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’”

Therefore He says:“ Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;

“ I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes.”

After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.

He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voiceand come forth— those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.

‘ For the seed shall be prosperous, The vine shall give its fruit, The ground shall give her increase, And the heavens shall give their dew— I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these.

And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves.And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.

I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you.Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion!

My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And My tongue clings to My jaws; You have brought Me to the dust of death.

Awake, awake! Stand up, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk at the hand of the Lord The cup of His fury; You have drunk the dregs of the cup of trembling, And drained it out.

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given to him.

Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass.

before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.

Then Israel shall dwell in safety, The fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew.

And of Joseph he said:“ Blessed of the Lord is his land, With the precious things of heaven, with the dew, And the deep lying beneath,

Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.

My root is spread out to the waters, And the dew lies all night on my branch.
