We were with child, we writhed in labor, but we gave birth to wind. We have not brought salvation to the earth, and the people of the world have not come to life.

We were pregnant and groaned with pain. But nothing was born. We didn’t bring your saving power to the earth. And the people of the world have not come to life.

对他说：“希西迦说，‘今日是遭难、蒙羞、受辱的日子，就像婴儿要出生，产妇却无力生产一样。

临产的阵痛要临到他，但他是毫无智慧的孩子，分娩之时却不离开母腹。

无人按公义诉讼，无人凭诚实申辩。你们依靠诡辩，口出谎言，心怀鬼胎，生出罪恶。

扫罗却说：“今天不可杀人，因为今天耶和华拯救了以色列。”

约书亚说：“唉！主耶和华啊，你让我们过了约旦河，为什么把我们交在亚摩利人手上，让他们毁灭我们呢？倒不如让我们住在约旦河对岸！主啊，现在以色列人被仇敌打败，我还有什么话可说呢？迦南人和这一带的人听到这消息以后，必从四面八方来围攻我们，将我们从地上斩尽杀绝。那时候，你的威名又何在呢？”

但众人对扫罗说：“今天约拿单给以色列人带来这么大的胜利，难道要他死吗？绝对不可以！我们凭永活的耶和华起誓，绝不可动他一根头发，因为他今天的行动有上帝的帮助。”众人就这样救了约拿单的性命。

对他说：“希西迦说，‘今天是遭难、蒙羞、受辱的日子，就像婴儿要出生，产妇却无力生产一样。

摩西回到耶和华那里说：“主啊！你为什么这样苦待你的子民呢？为什么要派我去呢？自从我去法老那里奉你的名发言后，他更加虐待你的子民，你并没有拯救他们。”

世人不会恨你们，只会恨我，因为我指证他们行为邪恶。
