On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine— the best of meats and the finest of wines.

On Mount Zion the Lord who rules over all will prepare a feast for all the nations. The best and richest foods and the finest aged wines will be served.

On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine, of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.

On this mountain, the LORD of Armies will prepare for all the peoples a feast of choice meat, a feast with aged wine, prime cuts of choice meat, fine vintage wine.

Now the Lord of armies will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, And refined, aged wine.

And in this mountain The Lord of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees.

And in this mountain will Jehovah of hosts make unto all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

The Lord of Hosts will prepare a feast for all the peoples on this mountain— a feast of aged wine, choice meat, finely aged wine.

And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

The LORD who commands armies will hold a banquet for all the nations on this mountain. At this banquet there will be plenty of meat and aged wine– tender meat and choicest wine.

In this mountain, Yahweh of Armies will make all peoples a feast of choice meat, a feast of choice wines, of choice meat full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.

And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world— from east and west— and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven.

In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house will be the highest of all— the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world will stream there to worship.People from many nations will come and say,“ Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the Lord’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem.

You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy.

On that day the Lord their God will rescue his people, just as a shepherd rescues his sheep. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.How wonderful and beautiful they will be! The young men will thrive on abundant grain, and the young women will flourish on new wine.

They will come home and sing songs of joy on the heights of Jerusalem. They will be radiant because of the Lord’s good gifts— the abundant crops of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and the healthy flocks and herds. Their life will be like a watered garden, and all their sorrows will be gone.The young women will dance for joy, and the men— old and young— will join in the celebration. I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing.

And the angel said to me,“ Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” And he added,“ These are true words that come from God.”

to eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. And you will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat.

Jesus also told them other parables. He said,“ The Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a king who prepared a great wedding feast for his son.When the banquet was ready, he sent his servants to notify those who were invited. But they all refused to come!“ So he sent other servants to tell them,‘ The feast has been prepared. The bulls and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the banquet!’But the guests he had invited ignored them and went their own way, one to his farm, another to his business.Others seized his messengers and insulted them and killed them.“ The king was furious, and he sent out his army to destroy the murderers and burn their town.And he said to his servants,‘ The wedding feast is ready, and the guests I invited aren’t worthy of the honor.Now go out to the street corners and invite everyone you see.’So the servants brought in everyone they could find, good and bad alike, and the banquet hall was filled with guests.

“ And now the Lord says: I am returning to Mount Zion, and I will live in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City; the mountain of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will be called the Holy Mountain.

He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal— it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.

Kiss me and kiss me again, for your love is sweeter than wine.

He chose instead the tribe of Judah, and Mount Zion, which he loved.

“ Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free!Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food.

Take me with you; come, let’s run! The king has brought me into his bedroom. How happy we are for you, O king. We praise your love even more than wine. How right they are to adore you.

Wisdom has built her house; she has carved its seven columns.She has prepared a great banquet, mixed the wines, and set the table.She has sent her servants to invite everyone to come. She calls out from the heights overlooking the city.“ Come in with me,” she urges the simple. To those who lack good judgment, she says,“ Come, eat my food, and drink the wine I have mixed.

No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering.

Like the finest apple tree in the orchard is my lover among other young men. I sit in his delightful shade and taste his delicious fruit.He escorts me to the banquet hall; it’s obvious how much he loves me.Strengthen me with raisin cakes, refresh me with apples, for I am weak with love.

I have entered my garden, my treasure, my bride! I gather myrrh with my spices and eat honeycomb with my honey. I drink wine with my milk. Oh, lover and beloved, eat and drink! Yes, drink deeply of your love!

He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their lives are precious to him.Long live the king! May the gold of Sheba be given to him. May the people always pray for him and bless him all day long.May there be abundant grain throughout the land, flourishing even on the hilltops. May the fruit trees flourish like the trees of Lebanon, and may the people thrive like grass in a field.

For the Lord’s hand of blessing will rest on Jerusalem. But Moab will be crushed. It will be like straw trampled down and left to rot.

“ From his earliest history, Moab has lived in peace, never going into exile. He is like wine that has been allowed to settle. He has not been poured from flask to flask, and he is now fragrant and smooth.

Jesus replied with this story:“ A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations.When the banquet was ready, he sent his servant to tell the guests,‘ Come, the banquet is ready.’But they all began making excuses. One said,‘ I have just bought a field and must inspect it. Please excuse me.’Another said,‘ I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out. Please excuse me.’Another said,‘ I just got married, so I can’t come.’“ The servant returned and told his master what they had said. His master was furious and said,‘ Go quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and invite the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’After the servant had done this, he reported,‘ There is still room for more.’So his master said,‘ Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full.

But no one who drinks the old wine seems to want the new wine.‘ The old is just fine,’ they say.”

Mark my words— I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father’s Kingdom.”

He says,“ You will do more than restore the people of Israel to me. I will make you a light to the Gentiles, and you will bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.”The Lord, the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel, says to the one who is despised and rejected by the nations, to the one who is the servant of rulers:“ Kings will stand at attention when you pass by. Princes will also bow low because of the Lord, the faithful one, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”This is what the Lord says:“ At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation I will help you. I will protect you and give you to the people as my covenant with them. Through you I will reestablish the land of Israel and assign it to its own people again.I will say to the prisoners,‘ Come out in freedom,’ and to those in darkness,‘ Come into the light.’ They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures and on hills that were previously bare.They will neither hunger nor thirst. The searing sun will not reach them anymore. For the Lord in his mercy will lead them; he will lead them beside cool waters.

And then he told them,“ Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.
