Therefore strong peoples will honor you; cities of ruthless nations will revere you.

Powerful nations will honor you. Even sinful people from their cities will have respect for you.

Therefore strong peoples will glorify you; cities of ruthless nations will fear you.

Therefore, strong nations will declare your glory; ruthless nations will fear you.

Therefore, a strong people will honor you. The cities of violent nations will fear you.

Therefore a strong people will glorify You; Cities of ruthless nations will revere You.

Therefore the strong people will glorify You; The city of the terrible nations will fear You.

Therefore shall a strong people glorify thee; a city of terrible nations shall fear thee.

Therefore, a strong people will honor You. The cities of violent nations will fear You.

Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

So a strong nation will extol you; the towns of powerful nations will fear you.

Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am Yahweh; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed.”Shall the plunder be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captives be delivered?But Yahweh says,“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the plunder retrieved from the fierce, for I will contend with him who contends with you and I will save your children.I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they will be drunk on their own blood, as with sweet wine. Then all flesh shall know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity. I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will humble the arrogance of the terrible.

Yahweh will be King over all the earth. In that day Yahweh will be one, and his name one.

In that day there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

“ Foreigners will build up your walls, and their kings will serve you: for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.Your gates also shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, and their kings led captive.For that nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly wasted.“ The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the cypress tree, the pine, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you; and all those who despised you will bow themselves down at the soles of your feet. They will call you Yahweh’s City, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”’

“ Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.Yes, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him.

The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”The twenty- four elders, who sit on their thrones before God’s throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,saying:“ We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power and reigned.

It will happen that everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of Armies, and to keep the feast of booths.

Tell God,“ How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.

“ For I know their works and their thoughts. The time comes that I will gather all nations and languages, and they will come, and will see my glory.“ I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to far- away islands, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.They shall bring all your brothers out of all the nations for an offering to Yahweh, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says Yahweh, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into Yahweh’s house.

“ I will set my glory among the nations. Then all the nations will see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them.So the house of Israel will know that I am Yahweh their God, from that day and forward.
