Therefore strong peoples will honor you; cities of ruthless nations will revere you.

Powerful nations will honor you. Even sinful people from their cities will have respect for you.

Therefore strong peoples will glorify you; cities of ruthless nations will fear you.

Therefore, strong nations will declare your glory; ruthless nations will fear you.

Therefore, a strong people will honor you. The cities of violent nations will fear you.

Therefore a strong people will glorify You; Cities of ruthless nations will revere You.

Therefore the strong people will glorify You; The city of the terrible nations will fear You.

Therefore shall a strong people glorify thee; a city of terrible nations shall fear thee.

Therefore, a strong people will honor You. The cities of violent nations will fear You.

Therefore a strong people will glorify you. A city of awesome nations will fear you.

Kings will be your children’s guardians; their princesses will nurse your children. With their faces to the ground they will bow down to you and they will lick the dirt on your feet. Then you will recognize that I am the LORD; those who wait patiently for me are not put to shame.Can spoils be taken from a warrior, or captives be rescued from a conqueror?Indeed,” says the LORD,“ captives will be taken from a warrior; spoils will be rescued from a conqueror. I will oppose your adversary and I will rescue your children.I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will get drunk on their own blood, as if it were wine. Then all humankind will recognize that I am the LORD, your deliverer, your protector, the powerful ruler of Jacob.”

I will punish the world for its evil, and wicked people for their sin. I will put an end to the pride of the insolent, I will bring down the arrogance of tyrants.

The LORD will then be king over all the earth. In that day the LORD will be seen as one with a single name.

Just then a major earthquake took place and a tenth of the city collapsed; seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Foreigners will rebuild your walls; their kings will serve you. Even though I struck you down in my anger, I will restore my favor and have compassion on you.Your gates will remain open at all times; they will not be shut during the day or at night, so that the wealth of nations may be delivered, with their kings leading the way.Indeed, nations or kingdoms that do not serve you will perish; such nations will be totally destroyed.The splendor of Lebanon will come to you, its evergreens, firs, and cypresses together, to beautify my palace; I will bestow honor on my throne room.The children of your oppressors will come bowing to you; all who treated you with disrespect will bow down at your feet. They will call you,‘ The City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.’

I will exalt and magnify myself; I will reveal myself before many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’

He says,“ Stop your striving and recognize that I am God! I will be exalted over the nations! I will be exalted over the earth!”The LORD who commands armies is on our side! The God of Jacob is our protector!( Selah)

May he rule from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth!Before him the coastlands will bow down, and his enemies will lick the dust.The kings of Tarshish and the coastlands will offer gifts; the kings of Sheba and Seba will bring tribute.All kings will bow down to him; all nations will serve him.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying:“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.”Then the twenty- four elders who are seated on their thrones before God threw themselves down with their faces to the ground and worshiped Godwith these words:“ We give you thanks, Lord God, the All- Powerful, the one who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun to reign.

Then all who survive from all the nations that came to attack Jerusalem will go up annually to worship the King, the LORD who rules over all, and to observe the Feast of Tabernacles.

Say to God:“ How awesome are your deeds! Because of your great power your enemies cower in fear before you.

“ I hate their deeds and thoughts! So I am coming to gather all the nations and ethnic groups; they will come and witness my splendor.I will perform a mighty act among them and then send some of those who remain to the nations– to Tarshish, Pul, Lud( known for its archers), Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands that have not heard about me or seen my splendor. They will tell the nations of my splendor.They will bring back all your countrymen from all the nations as an offering to the LORD. They will bring them on horses, in chariots, in wagons, on mules, and on camels to my holy hill Jerusalem,” says the LORD,“ just as the Israelites bring offerings to the LORD’s temple in ritually pure containers.

“ I will display my majesty among the nations. All the nations will witness the judgment I have executed, and the power I have exhibited among them.Then the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day forward.
