O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.

Jehovah is my strength and song, And he is become my salvation: This is my God, and I will praise him; My father’s God, and I will exalt him.

God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good?

Oh sing unto Jehovah a new song; For he hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and his holy arm, hath wrought salvation for him.

Many, O Jehovah my God, are the wonderful works which thou hast done, And thy thoughts which are to us- ward: They cannot be set in order unto thee; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.

This also cometh forth from Jehovah of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.

in whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will;

And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and didst purchase unto God with thy blood men of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,and madest them to be unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon the earth.And I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb that hath been slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing.And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever.And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped.

It hath seemed good unto me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God hath wrought toward me.How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: Jehovah is gracious and merciful.

Wherefore David blessed Jehovah before all the assembly; and David said, Blessed be thou, O Jehovah, the God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.Thine, O Jehovah, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Jehovah, and thou art exalted as head above all.Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou rulest over all; and in thy hand is power and might; and in thy hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as all our fathers were: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no abiding.O Jehovah our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee a house for thy holy name cometh of thy hand, and is all thine own.I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, that are present here, offer willingly unto thee.O Jehovah, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee;and give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.And David said to all the assembly, Now bless Jehovah your God. And all the assembly blessed Jehovah, the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped Jehovah, and the king.

Ah Lord Jehovah! behold, thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy great power and by thine outstretched arm; there is nothing too hard for thee,who showest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them; the great, the mighty God, Jehovah of hosts is his name;great in counsel, and mighty in work; whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings;who didst set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, both in Israel and among other men; and madest thee a name, as at this day;and didst bring forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;and gavest them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;and they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them.Behold, the mounds, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence; and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.

While I live will I praise Jehovah: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Jehovah bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought; He maketh the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.The counsel of Jehovah standeth fast for ever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And worship at his footstool: Holy is he.

declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in;and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:And this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.As touching the gospel, they are enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake.For the gifts and the calling of God are not repented of.

Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!For he satisfieth the longing soul, And the hungry soul he filleth with good.Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Being bound in affliction and iron,Because they rebelled against the words of God, And contemned the counsel of the Most High:Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; They fell down, and there was none to help.Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saved them out of their distresses.He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And brake their bonds in sunder.Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!For he hath broken the gates of brass, And cut the bars of iron in sunder.Fools because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, are afflicted.Their soul abhorreth all manner of food; And they draw near unto the gates of death.Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saveth them out of their distresses.He sendeth his word, and healeth them, And delivereth them from their destructions.Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare his works with singing.They that go down to the sea in ships, That do business in great waters;These see the works of Jehovah, And his wonders in the deep.For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, Which lifteth up the waves thereof.They mount up to the heavens, they go down again to the depths: Their soul melteth away because of trouble.They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits’ end.Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he bringeth them out of their distresses.He maketh the storm a calm, So that the waves thereof are still.Then are they glad because they are quiet; So he bringeth them unto their desired haven.Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, And praise him in the seat of the elders.He turneth rivers into a wilderness, And watersprings into a thirsty ground;A fruitful land into a salt desert, For the wickedness of them that dwell therein.He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, And a dry land into watersprings.And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, That they may prepare a city of habitation,And sow fields, and plant vineyards, And get them fruits of increase.He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; And he suffereth not their cattle to decrease.Again, they are diminished and bowed down Through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.He poureth contempt upon princes, And causeth them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.Yet setteth he the needy on high from affliction, And maketh him families like a flock.The upright shall see it, and be glad; And all iniquity shall stop her mouth.Whoso is wise will give heed to these things; And they will consider the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Art thou he of whom I spake in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, that prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring thee against them?And it shall come to pass in that day, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, that my wrath shall come up into my nostrils.For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;so that the fishes of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.And I will call for a sword against him unto all my mountains, saith the Lord Jehovah: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.And with pestilence and with blood will I enter into judgment with him; and I will rain upon him, and upon his hordes, and upon the many peoples that are with him, an overflowing shower, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.And I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are thy ways, thou King of the ages.

saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of Jehovah, And his strength, and his wondrous works that he hath done.

O Jehovah our God, other lords besides thee have had dominion over us; but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

I will extol thee, my God, O King; And I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us:
