Isaiah 16:10
Gone now is the gladness, gone the joy of harvest. There will be no singing in the vineyards, no more happy shouts, no treading of grapes in the winepresses. I have ended all their harvest joys.

Joel 1:10-12
The fields are ruined, the land is stripped bare. The grain is destroyed, the grapes have shriveled, and the olive oil is gone.Despair, all you farmers! Wail, all you vine growers! The farms of Heshbon are abandoned; the vineyards at Sibmah are deserted. The rulers of the nations have broken down Moab— that beautiful grapevine. Its tendrils spread north as far as the town of Jazer and trailed eastward into the wilderness. Its shoots reached so far west that they crossed over the Dead Sea.

O people of Israel, do not rejoice as other nations do. For you have been unfaithful to your God, hiring yourselves out like prostitutes, worshiping other gods on every threshing floor.So now your harvests will be too small to feed you. There will be no grapes for making new wine.

Listen, you women who lie around in ease. Listen to me, you who are so smug.In a short time— just a little more than a year— you careless ones will suddenly begin to care. For your fruit crops will fail, and the harvest will never take place.Tremble, you women of ease; throw off your complacency. Strip off your pretty clothes, and put on burlap to show your grief.Beat your breasts in sorrow for your bountiful farms and your fruitful grapevines.For your land will be overgrown with thorns and briers. Your joyful homes and happy towns will be gone.
