Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake.

Anyone who runs away from the terror will fall into the pit. Anyone who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the trap. The Lord will open the windows of the skies. He will flood the land. The foundations of the earth will shake.

那時，因他發怒地就震動戰抖，山的根基也震動挪移。

挪亞六百歲那一年的二月十七日，就在那一天，大深淵的泉源都裂開，天上的窗戶也敞開了，

耶和華使他們在以色列人面前潰亂。約書亞在基遍大大擊殺他們，在伯‧和崙的上坡路上追趕他們，擊殺他們，直到亞西加和瑪基大。他們在以色列人面前逃跑。正在伯‧和崙下坡的時候，耶和華從天上降下大冰雹在他們身上，直降到亞西加，打死他們。被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀殺死的還多。

好像人躲避獅子卻遇見熊；進房屋以手靠牆，卻被蛇咬。

所以，地雖改變，山雖搖動到海心，其中的水雖澎湃翻騰，山雖因海漲而戰抖，我們也不害怕。（細拉）

耶和華啊，你的斥責一發，你鼻孔的氣一出，海底就顯現，大地的根基也暴露。

他因自己的腳陷入網中，走在纏人的網子上。羅網必抓住他的腳跟，陷阱必擒獲他。繩索為他藏在土裏，羈絆為他藏在路上。四面的驚嚇使他害怕，在他腳跟後面追趕他。他的力量必因飢餓衰敗，禍患要在他的旁邊等候，侵蝕他肢體的皮膚；死亡的長子吞吃他的肢體。他要從所倚靠的帳棚被拔出來，帶到使人驚恐的王那裏。不屬他的必住在他的帳棚裏，硫磺必撒在他所住之處。下邊，他的根要枯乾；上邊，他的枝子要剪除。

有一個攙扶王的軍官回答神人說：「看哪，即使耶和華打開天上的窗戶，也不可能有這事。」以利沙說：「看哪，你必親眼看見，在那裏卻吃不到甚麼。」

以色列人與亞蘭人相對安營七日，到第七日兩軍開戰。那一日以色列人殺了亞蘭的十萬步兵，其餘的都逃向亞弗，到了城裏，城牆倒塌，壓死了剩下的二萬七千人。便‧哈達也逃入城內，藏在嚴密的內室裏。

因為我的怒火焚燒，直燒到極深的陰間，吞噬地和地的出產，連山的根基也燒着了。「『我要把禍患堆在他們身上，我用盡我的箭射向他們：餓死人的饑荒、灼人的熱症、痛苦的災害。我要叫野獸用牙齒咬他們，叫土中爬行的用毒液害他們。外有刀劍使人喪亡，內有驚恐，少男少女是如此，吃奶的、白髮的也是如此。我曾說，我要粉碎他們，使他們的名從人間消失。

當時，耶和華把硫磺與火，從天上耶和華那裏降與所多瑪和蛾摩拉，
