逃於驚駭之聲者、必陷於坎阱、出於坎阱者、必罹於機檻、蓋天啟其牖、地震其基、

Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake.

Anyone who runs away from the terror will fall into the pit. Anyone who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the trap. The Lord will open the windows of the skies. He will flood the land. The foundations of the earth will shake.

He who flees at the sound of the terror shall fall into the pit, and he who climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.

那時，因他發怒，地就搖撼戰抖；山的根基也震動搖撼。

當挪亞六百歲，二月十七日那一天，大淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的窗戶也敞開了，

耶和華使他們在以色列人面前潰亂。約書亞在基遍大大地殺敗他們，追趕他們，在伯‧和崙的上坡路擊殺他們，直到亞西加和瑪基大。他們在以色列人面前逃跑，正在伯‧和崙下坡的時候，耶和華從天上降大冰雹在他們身上，直降到亞西加，打死他們。被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀殺死的還多。

景況好像人躲避獅子又遇見熊，或是進房屋以手靠牆，就被蛇咬。

所以，地雖改變，山雖搖動到海心，其中的水雖匉訇翻騰，山雖因海漲而戰抖，我們也不害怕。（細拉）

他要躲避鐵器；銅弓的箭要將他射透。

耶和華啊，你的斥責一發，你鼻孔的氣一出，海底就出現，大地的根基也顯露。

因為他被自己的腳陷入網中，走在纏人的網羅上。圈套必抓住他的腳跟；機關必擒獲他。活扣為他藏在土內；羈絆為他藏在路上。四面的驚嚇要使他害怕，並且追趕他的腳跟。他的力量必因飢餓衰敗；禍患要在他旁邊等候。他本身的肢體要被吞吃；死亡的長子要吞吃他的肢體。他要從所倚靠的帳棚被拔出來，帶到驚嚇的王那裏。不屬他的必住在他的帳棚裏；硫磺必撒在他所住之處。下邊，他的根本要枯乾；上邊，他的枝子要剪除。

有一個攙扶王的軍長對神人說：「即便耶和華使天開了窗戶，也不能有這事。」以利沙說：「你必親眼看見，卻不得吃。」

以色列人與亞蘭人相對安營七日，到第七日兩軍交戰；那一日以色列人殺了亞蘭人步兵十萬，其餘的逃入亞弗城；城牆塌倒，壓死剩下的二萬七千人。便‧哈達也逃入城，藏在嚴密的屋子裏。

因為在我怒中有火燒起，直燒到極深的陰間，把地和地的出產盡都焚燒，山的根基也燒着了。我要將禍患堆在他們身上，把我的箭向他們射盡。他們必因飢餓消瘦，被炎熱苦毒吞滅。我要打發野獸用牙齒咬他們，並土中腹行的，用毒氣害他們。外頭有刀劍，內室有驚恐，使人喪亡，使少男、童女、吃奶的、白髮的，盡都滅絕。我說，我必將他們分散遠方，使他們的名號從人間除滅。
