Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake.

Anyone who runs away from the terror will fall into the pit. Anyone who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the trap. The Lord will open the windows of the skies. He will flood the land. The foundations of the earth will shake.

那时大地摇撼震动，群山的根基也都动摇，它们摇撼，是因为耶和华发怒。

挪亚六百岁那一年，二月十七日那一天，所有大渊的泉源都裂开了，天上的窗户都敞开了。

耶和华使他们在以色列人面前溃乱，约书亚在基遍大大地击杀他们，沿着伯．和仑的上坡路追赶他们，击打他们，直到亚西加和玛基大。他们从以色列人面前逃跑，正在下伯．和仑斜坡的时候，耶和华从天上降大冰雹在他们身上，一直到亚西加，打死他们；被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀杀死的还多。

那日就像一个人避过了狮子，却遇上了熊；回到家里，手靠在墙上，却被蛇咬。

因此，地虽然震动，群山虽然崩塌入海洋的深处，我们也不害怕。虽然海浪翻腾澎湃，虽然山岳因波涛汹涌摇动，我们也不害怕。（细拉）

他要逃避铁制的兵器，但铜弓的箭必把他射穿；

耶和华斥责一发，你鼻孔的气一出，海底就出现，大地的根基也显露。

他的脚送自己进入网罗，他走在陷阱之上。圈套要缠住他的脚跟，网罗要罩在他身上。活扣为他藏在地里，羁绊为他埋在路上。惊骇四面恐吓他，并且追赶他的脚踪。他的气力因饥饿衰败，祸患预备使他跌倒。灾祸侵蚀了他大部分的皮肤，死亡的长子吃掉了他的肢体。他要从他倚靠的帐棚中被拔出来，被带到惊骇的王那里，不属他的住在他的帐棚里，硫磺撒在他的居所之上。他下面的根枯干，上面的枝子凋谢。

但那搀扶王的官长回答神人，说：“即使耶和华在天上开了窗户，也不会有这事发生。”以利沙说：“看哪，你要亲眼看见，却吃不着。”

以色列人和亚兰人相对安营，共七天。到了第七日，两军终于接战了。那一天，以色列人杀了亚兰人步兵十万。余下来的都逃入亚弗城里，城墙倒塌，压死了余下来的二万七千人。便．哈达也逃到城里来，躲进一间密室里。

因为在我的怒中有火燃烧起来，烧到阴间的深处，把大地和地的出产尽都吞灭，连山的根基也烧着了。我要把灾祸加在他们身上，把我的箭向他们射尽。他们必因饥荒消瘦，被热病和毒症消灭；我也要打发野兽用牙齿咬他们，和土中的蛇类用毒液害他们。外有刀剑，内有惊恐，使人丧亡，使少男少女，婴孩和白发老人，尽都丧亡。我原想：“我要把他们分散到各处，把他们的名号都从人间除灭。”

当时，耶和华就使硫磺与火，从天上耶和华那里降与所多玛和蛾摩拉；
