地上的居民哪，驚嚇、陷阱、羅網都臨到你；

地上的居民哪，驚嚇、陷阱、羅網都臨到你；

世人啊！恐怖、陷阱和網羅要臨到你們。

地上的居民哪！恐懼、陷坑和網羅，都臨近你們！

地上的居民哪，恐怖、陷坑、機檻、都臨到你身上了！

地上的居民哪，恐怖、陷坑和網羅都要臨到你們！

地上居民歟、驚駭坎阱機檻、悉臨於爾、

居斯土者、惟有驚駭、坎阱機檻而已、

斯地之居民乎、驚駭、陷阱、網羅、必臨於爾、

Terror and pit and snare await you, people of the earth.

Listen, you people of the earth. Terror, a pit and a trap are waiting for you.

Terror and the pit and the snare are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth!

Terror and traps and snares will be your lot, you people of the earth.

Panic, pit, and trap await you who dwell on the earth.

Terror and pit and snare Confront you, you inhabitant of the earth.

Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

Panic, pit, and trap await you who dwell on the earth.

Fear, and the pit, and the snare,[ are] upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

Terror, pit, and snare are ready to overtake you inhabitants of the earth!

Fear, the pit, and the snare, are on you who inhabit the earth.

Fear and the pit and the snare shall be upon you, O inhabitant of Moab,” says the Lord.“ He who flees from the fear shall fall into the pit, And he who gets out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For upon Moab, upon it I will bring The year of their punishment,” says the Lord.

It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.

For thus says the Lord GOD:“ How much more it shall be when I send My four severe judgments on Jerusalem— the sword and famine and wild beasts and pestilence— to cut off man and beast from it?

Then death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of those who remain of this evil family, who remain in all the places where I have driven them,” says the Lord of hosts.

‘ Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not willing to obey Me, I will bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins.I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number; and your highways shall be desolate.

It will be as though a man fled from a lion, And a bear met him! Or as though he went into the house, Leaned his hand on the wall, And a serpent bit him!
