I will drive him like a peg into a firm place; he will become a seat of honor for the house of his father.

The Lord will set him firmly in place like a peg driven into a wall. He will hold a position of honor in his family.

And I will fasten him like a peg in a secure place, and he will become a throne of honor to his father’s house.

He will bring honor to his family name, for I will drive him firmly in place like a nail in the wall.

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (niv)
