I will clothe him with your robe and fasten your sash around him and hand your authority over to him. He will be a father to those who live in Jerusalem and to the people of Judah.

The Lord will put your robe on Eliakim. He will tie your belt around him. He will hand your authority over to him. Eliakim will be like a father to the people of Jerusalem and Judah.

這樣看來，派遣我到這裡來的，不是你們，而是神。他立我作法老之父，作他全家之主，又作埃及全地的管轄者。

王取下自己的印戒，就是他從哈曼那裡收回的，把它交給了末迪凱；以斯帖也安排末迪凱管理哈曼的家。

因為有一嬰孩為我們而生，有一兒子賜給我們。政權必擔在他的肩上，他的名必稱為「奇妙的謀士」、「全能的神」、「永恆的父」、「和平的君」，他的政權與平安必加增無窮；他必在大衛的寶座上統管他的國，以公正和公義使國堅立穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

然後法老從自己手上取下印戒，戴在約瑟手上，給他穿上細麻衣，把金鏈戴在他的脖子上；又讓約瑟乘自己的副車，喝道的在約瑟前面向人呼喊：「跪下！」這樣，法老委派他管理埃及全地。

約拿單脫下身上的外袍給了大衛，又把他的戰袍，甚至刀、弓、腰帶，都給了大衛。

末迪凱穿著藍色、白色的王袍，戴著一個很大的金冠冕，披著紫色細麻布外袍，從王面前出來；蘇薩城的人都歡喜呼喊。
