This is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says:“ Go, say to this steward, to Shebna the palace administrator:

This is what the sovereign master, the LORD who commands armies, says:“ Go visit this administrator, Shebna, who supervises the palace, and tell him:

The Lord, Yahweh of Armies says,“ Go, get yourself to this treasurer, even to Shebna, who is over the house, and say,

希勒家的兒子管家以利亞敬、書記舍伯那和亞薩的兒子史官約亞，都出來見他。

他們呼叫王；希勒家的兒子王宮總管以利亞敬、書記舍伯那和亞薩的兒子史官約亞就出來見他們。

當時王宮總管希勒家的兒子以利亞敬、書記舍伯那和亞薩的兒子史官約亞來到希西家那裡，他們的衣服都撕裂了，他們把拉伯沙基的話都告訴了他。

他差派管家以利亞敬、書記舍伯那和祭司中的長老，都披上麻布，去見亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞先知。

王又派王宮總管以利亞敬、書記舍伯那和祭司中的長老披上麻布，到亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞先知那裡。

亞希煞作家宰；亞比大的兒子亞多尼蘭掌管服勞役的人。

於是內務長、市長、長老和亞哈眾子的導師送信給耶戶說：“我們是你的僕人，你吩咐我們的，我們都必照辦；我們也不會立甚麼人作王；你看怎樣好，我們就怎樣作。”

以利亞敬、舍伯那和約亞對拉伯沙基說：“請你用亞蘭語對你的僕人說話，因為我們聽得懂；不要用猶大語對我們說話，免得城牆上的人民聽見。”

他就動身去了。有一個衣索匹亞人，是衣索匹亞女王干大基有權力的太監，掌管女王全部國庫。他上耶路撒冷去禮拜。

於是希勒家的兒子管家以利亞敬、書記舍伯那和亞薩的兒子史官約亞，都撕裂衣服，來到希西家面前，把拉伯沙基的話告訴了他。

管理王的庫房的，是亞疊的兒子押斯馬威；管理郊野、城市、鄉村和望樓的倉庫的，是烏西雅的兒子約拿單；

希勒家的兒子以利亞敬、舍伯那和約亞對拉伯沙基說：“請用亞蘭語和你的僕人們說話，因為我們聽得懂；不要用猶大語和我們說話，免得傳入在城牆上的人民的耳中。”
