祸哉！你这未遭毁灭的毁灭者，未遭背信之事的背信者！你行完了毁灭，自己必遭毁灭；你做尽了背信之事，自己必遭背信之事。

你使你的子民遇见艰难，让我们喝了使人踉跄的酒。

蒙耶和华救赎的人必回归，欢呼着进入锡安；永远的喜乐必临到他们的头上，欢喜快乐要追随他们，悲哀叹息却要逃遁。

看哪！我要激起米底亚人来攻击他们。米底亚人不重视银子，也不喜爱金子；他们的弓箭必把少年人射烂，他们不怜悯妇人腹中的胎儿，他们的眼也不顾惜小孩。

正如古时的箴言所说：‘恶事出于恶人’，我的手绝不敌对你。

你所看见的那有两只犄角的公绵羊，就是米底亚王和波斯王。
