The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.

守望的说：“早晨将到，黑夜也来。你们若要问就可以问，可以回头再来。”

守望者说：“早晨来到，黑夜将临。你们若要问，问吧，也可以回头再来。”

守望者说：“早晨来到，黑夜将临。你们若要问，问吧，也可以回头再来。”

我回答：“黎明将到，但黑夜会再来。如果你们还想问，再来问吧。”

守望的说：“早晨到了，黑夜也会再来；你们若要问，就尽管问；也可以回头再来问。”

守夜的说：“早晨到了，黑夜还会再来。你如果要查问，就尽管查问！你回头再来吧！”

守望的說：早晨將到，黑夜也來。你們若要問就可以問，可以回頭再來。

守望者說：「早晨來到，黑夜將臨。你們若要問，問吧，也可以回頭再來。」

守望者說：「早晨來到，黑夜將臨。你們若要問，問吧，也可以回頭再來。」

我回答：「黎明將到，但黑夜會再來。如果你們還想問，再來問吧。」

守望的說：“早晨到了，黑夜也會再來；你們若要問，就儘管問；也可以回頭再來問。”

看守人說：『早晨來了，黑夜也就來到；你們若要查問，儘管查問；回頭請來！』

守夜的說：「早晨到了，黑夜還會再來。你如果要查問，就儘管查問！你回頭再來吧！」

守望者曰、旦將至、夜亦至、欲問則問、其復來乎、○

應之曰、旭日將至、昏夜亦至、爾欲詰予、必先悔爾心、乃可。○

守望者曰、清晨將至、昏夜復至、爾若欲問可問、越時復來、○

The watchman replies,“ Morning is coming, but also the night. If you would ask, then ask; and come back yet again.”

The guard answers,“ Morning is coming, but the night will return. If you want to ask again, come back and ask.”

The watchman says:“ Morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; come back again.”

The watchman replies,“ Morning is coming, but night will soon return. If you wish to ask again, then come back and ask.”

The watchman said,“ Morning has come, and also night. If you want to ask, ask! Come back again.”

The watchman says,“ Morning comes but also night. If you would inquire, inquire; Come back again.”

The watchman said,“ The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; Return! Come back!”

The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will inquire, inquire ye: turn ye, come.

The watchman said,“ Morning has come, and also night. If you want to ask, ask! Come back again.”

The watchman replies,“ Morning is coming, but then night. If you want to ask, ask; come back again.”

The watchman said,“ The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire. Come back again.”

Now when they heard[ this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men[ and] brethren, what shall we do?Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by[ that] man whom he hath ordained;[ whereof] he hath given assurance unto all[ men], in that he hath raised him from the dead.And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this[ matter].

Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble[ is] near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn[ yourselves] from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest,[ is]?For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.

Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation.

The LORD hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.For ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye sent me unto the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us unto the LORD our God; and according unto all that the LORD our God shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do[ it].And[ now] I have this day declared[ it] to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor any[ thing] for the which he hath sent me unto you.Now therefore know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire to go[ and] to sojourn.

Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn[ yourselves] from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn[ yourselves], and live ye.

The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath[ is] upon all the multitude thereof.

And behold at eveningtide trouble;[ and] before the morning he[ is] not. This[ is] the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
