當那日子、這沿海一帶的居民必說：「看哪，我們素來所仰望的，我們為要蒙援救、逃離亞述王、才逃去求救助的，尚且落到這樣的下場，何況我們呢、又怎能逃脫呢？」』

那时，这沿海一带的居民必说：‘看哪，我们素所仰望的，就是我们为脱离亚述王逃往求救的，不过是如此！我们怎能逃脱呢？’”

“那时，沿海一带的居民必说：‘看哪，我们素来所仰望的，就是为躲避亚述王所逃往求救的，不过如此！我们怎能逃脱呢？’”

“那时，沿海一带的居民必说：‘看哪，我们素来所仰望的，就是为躲避亚述王所逃往求救的，不过如此！我们怎能逃脱呢？’”

那时，沿海一带的居民必说，‘看啊！我们投靠他们，指望他们救我们脱离亚述，他们竟落到这个地步！我们怎能逃脱呢？’”

到那日，这沿海的居民必说：‘看哪！我们所仰望的，就是我们为着脱离亚述王，逃往投靠的，也不过是这样。我们又怎能逃脱呢？’”

到那日，沿海的居民必说：‘看哪！我们向来所仰望的，就是我们为了从亚述王手中得解救而逃往求助的，尚且如此，我们又怎能逃脱呢？’”

「那時，這沿海一帶的居民必說：『看哪，我們素所仰望的，就是我們為脫離亞述王逃往求救的，不過是如此！我們怎能逃脫呢？』」

「那時，沿海一帶的居民必說：『看哪，我們素來所仰望的，就是為躲避亞述王所逃往求救的，不過如此！我們怎能逃脫呢？』」

「那時，沿海一帶的居民必說：『看哪，我們素來所仰望的，就是為躲避亞述王所逃往求救的，不過如此！我們怎能逃脫呢？』」

那時，沿海一帶的居民必說，『看啊！我們投靠他們，指望他們救我們脫離亞述，他們竟落到這個地步！我們怎能逃脫呢？』」

到那日，這沿海的居民必說：‘看哪！我們所仰望的，就是我們為著脫離亞述王，逃往投靠的，也不過是這樣。我們又怎能逃脫呢？’”

到那日，沿海的居民必說：『看哪！我們向來所仰望的，就是我們為了從亞述王手中得解救而逃往求助的，尚且如此，我們又怎能逃脫呢？』」

是日也、瀕海之民必曰、我所瞻望、奔赴求助、冀得脫於亞述王者、今乃若此、我儕焉能逃免哉、

當是時斯境斯境或作沿海之居民、必曰、我儕素所恃之國、即我為脫於亞述逃往求救之國、尚遭如此、我儕何能脫免哉、

In that day the people who live on this coast will say,‘ See what has happened to those we relied on, those we fled to for help and deliverance from the king of Assyria! How then can we escape?’”

At that time the people who live on the coast of Philistia will speak up. They will say,‘ See what has happened to those we depended on! We ran to them for help. We wanted them to save us from the king of Assyria. Now how can we escape?’ ”

And the inhabitants of this coastland will say in that day,‘ Behold, this is what has happened to those in whom we hoped and to whom we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria! And we, how shall we escape?’”

They will say,‘ If this can happen to Egypt, what chance do we have? We were counting on Egypt to protect us from the king of Assyria.’”

And the inhabitants of this coastland will say on that day,‘ Look, this is what has happened to those we relied on and fled to for help to rescue us from the king of Assyria! Now, how will we escape?’”

So the inhabitants of this coastland will say on that day,‘ Behold, such is our hope, where we fled for help to be saved from the king of Assyria; and how are we ourselves to escape?’ ”

And the inhabitant of this territory will say in that day,‘ Surely such is our expectation, wherever we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria; and how shall we escape?’”

And the inhabitant of this coast- land shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and we, how shall we escape?

And the inhabitants of this coastland will say on that day,‘ Look, this is what has happened to those we relied on and fled to for help to rescue us from the king of Assyria! Now, how will we escape?’”

And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such[ is] our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?

At that time those who live on this coast will say,‘ Look what has happened to our source of hope to whom we fled for help, expecting to be rescued from the king of Assyria! How can we escape now?’”

The inhabitants of this coast land will say in that day,‘ Behold, this is our expectation, where we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria. And we, how will we escape?’”

那麼我們若輕忽了這麼大的拯救，怎能逃罪呢？因為這拯救是起初由主親自宣講，而被聽見的人向我們證為確定，

蛇啊，毒蛇的種啊，你們怎能逃避地獄的定罪呢？

人正說平安穩妥的時候，就在那時、突來的死滅就臨到他們了——正如產難臨到懷孕的婦人一樣——他們斷不能逃脫。

我必以公平為準繩，以公義為線鉈；暴冰雹必將謊言之避難所沖去，大水必漲溢橫流、漫過虛假之隱匿處。』

無辜的人他必搭救；因你手清潔、你必蒙搭救。』

當察罰的日子、有風暴從遠方趕來，你們要怎樣行呢？你們要向誰逃奔去得救助呢？你們的財寶要撇在哪裏呢？

這是因為日子必到、要毁滅所有的非利士人，要剪除每一個幫助推羅西頓的殘存者；因為永恆主必毁滅非利士人，毁滅迦斐託海島餘剩之民。

永恆主發神諭說：『有禍啊，這些悖逆的兒女！設下計謀，卻不由於我！奠酒結盟，卻不由於我的靈，以致罪上加罪！他們起身下埃及去，並沒有求問我的許可，就要在法老的保護下去逃難，在埃及的蔭庇下去躲避！故此法老的保護必變為你們的慚愧，躲避於埃及的蔭庇下必成為你們的恥辱。因為他的首領雖已在瑣安，他的使者雖抵達了哈內斯，但他們都必因無益的族民而慚愧；那族民帶來的並不是幫助，也不是益處，只是慚愧與羞辱而已。』他們用南地的牲畜馱財物，經過艱難困苦之地，有公獅、母獅、蝮蛇和能飛的火蛇之地，把資財馱在驢駒的脊背上，將寶物馱在駱駝的肉鞍上，到無益的族民那裏去。因為埃及的幫助是徒然而空洞的；故此我稱牠為「坐而不動的拉哈伯」。

他們因所瞻望的而失望，到了那裏便周章狼狽。

有禍啊！那些下埃及去求幫助的！他們依靠馬匹，倚賴車輛，因為很多；他們倚賴馬兵，因為馬兵極強壯，他們卻不仰望以色列之聖者，永恆主、他們竟不求問！其實永恆主有智慧，他會降災禍的；他的話他絕不收回，他卻要起來攻擊那作壞事者的家，攻擊那幫助作孽之人的。埃及人不過是人，並不是神；他們的馬不過是血肉，並不是靈；永恆主一伸手，那幫助人的就絆跌，那受幫助的也必跌倒，二者就同歸於盡。

你為甚麼因你的破爛而哀呼你痛苦之無法醫治呢？我將這些刑罰施在你身上、都因你罪孽之眾多，你罪惡之重大呀。故此凡吞喫你的必被吞喫；你的敵人個個都必被擄而去；搶掠你的、必成為被擄物，掠劫你的、我都必使他們成為被掠物。因為我必使新肉在你身上長起來；你受的擊傷、我必醫治，永恆主發神諭說，因為人稱你為「被放逐者」，說：「這是錫安，乾透了之地，無人來探望的！」

因為主永恆主以色列之聖者這麼說：『你們之得救、在乎歸回與安靜；你們之得力、在於寧靜與信靠。』你們逕自不肯；你們卻說：『不！我們要騎馬奔跑；』故此你們真地要逃跑；你們又說：『我們要騎迅速輕快的』；故此追趕你們的也必迅速輕快。
