People will flee to caves in the rocks and to holes in the ground from the fearful presence of the Lord and the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to shake the earth.

People will run and hide in caves in the rocks. They will go into holes in the ground. They will run away from the terrifying presence of the Lord. They will run when he comes in glory and majesty. When he comes, he will shake the earth.

And people shall enter the caves of the rocks and the holes of the ground, from before the terror of the Lord, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.

When the Lord rises to shake the earth, his enemies will crawl into holes in the ground. They will hide in caves in the rocks from the terror of the Lord and the glory of his majesty.

亞文之崇邱、乃以色列之罪、將見毀滅、荊棘蒺藜生於其壇、彼將謂山曰覆我、謂陵曰傾於我上、

萬軍之耶和華曰、再延片時、我將震動天地海陸、

時、人將謂山曰、壓我、謂陵曰、掩我、

彼將受刑、永滅於主、及其大能之榮前、

蓋耶和華出其所而降臨、履於地之高處、其下諸山銷鎔、諸谷分裂、如蠟在火前、如水流坡下、

是時也、地大震、邑圮十分之一、死者七千人、餘皆恐懼、歸榮於在天之上帝、○

必舐塵若蛇、戰慄出穴、如匍匐之物、悚然而歸我上帝耶和華、且因爾而懼焉、

又有電與聲與雷、地亦大震、自生民以來、其震未有若是之大也、

二人使非利士戍卒見之、非利士人曰、希伯來人出所匿之穴矣、

耶和華曰、我必召眾漁人以漁之、厥後召眾獵人、自山岡磐穴以獵之、

以色列民見事危急、窘迫特甚、則匿於山洞、叢林巖穴、營窟坎阱、

於荒野、山嶺、洞穴、地窟、轉徙無常、若此之人、斯世不堪有者也、

海歟、爾何為而逃遁、約但歟、爾何為而返流、山嶽歟、爾何為踴躍如牡羊、岡陵歟、爾何為踴躍如羔羊、爾大地歟、其顫動於主前、雅各之上帝前兮、

然主日將至、如盜然、是日諸天訇然而逝、體質俱為烈火所化、地與其間之造作盡爇焉、諸物既將如是消滅、則爾之為人、當如何清潔虔敬哉、企慕上帝之日至、諸天因而焚毀、有體質者悉以烈火銷鎔之、我儕依其所許、希望新天新地、義寓其中焉、○

耶和華歟、赫怒而起、禦我敵之怒兮、為我而興、訊鞫為爾所定兮、

上帝自提幔來、聖者自巴蘭山至、其榮蔽諸天、讚美徧大地、朗耀如日華、其手發光芒、能力蘊於其中、疫癘行於其前、火箭出於其下、彼立、則震動大地、彼視、則激觸列邦、恆在之山崩頹、永存之嶺傾陷、其道亙古如斯、我見古珊之幕遭難、米甸之帷動搖、耶和華乘馬、駕拯救之車、豈忿諸河、恚諸川、怒滄海乎、爾弓出弢、爾矢皆中、使河決地、諸山見爾而戰慄、大水奔流、深淵發聲、波濤激躍、爾矢激射、爾戈閃爍、日月因之停於其宮、爾發忿徧行大地、爾震怒蹂躪列邦、爾出以救爾民、拯爾受膏者、爾擊惡者之首、毀其室、露其址、至於盡處、爾以戈矛、刺其戰士之首、彼眾來如颶風、使我四散、其所喜者、暗噬貧民、

惟爾可畏、爾怒奮發、誰能立於爾前兮、爾自天宣讞、大地悚懼、而靜默兮、上帝起而行鞫、以救地上謙卑之人兮、

上帝之殿、在於天者啟矣、其約之匱、見於殿中、即有電與聲與雷及地震大雹、

告猶大方伯所羅巴伯云、我必震動天地、傾列邦之座位、滅萬民諸國之勢力、覆其車與駕之者、馬與乘之者、俱仆於昆弟之刃、

斯時也、人將求死弗得、欲死而死避之、

我又見啟六印時、地大震、日黑如褐、月變為血、天星隕地、如無花果樹為大風所撼、而落未熟之果、天遂見徙、如卷被捲、山島見移、皆離其所、世之諸王、大夫、將帥、富人、力士、為奴者、自由者、皆自匿於山洞山巖、

我苦難中、呼耶和華、籲我上帝兮、彼自其殿、垂聽我聲、我之呼籲、達於其耳兮、因彼奮怒、大地震動、山根搖撼兮、煙自其鼻升、火從其口出、炭為所燃兮、垂諸天而臨格、足下幽且深兮、乘基路伯而飛、藉風翼而翱翔兮、隱於玄冥、使為幕以環之、即水之黑暗、雲之濃密兮、由其前之光輝、冰雹炭火、經過密雲而出兮、耶和華自天起雷、至高者發其聲、並有冰雹炭火兮、彼發矢以潰敵、屢閃電而亂之兮、耶和華歟、因爾叱咤、鼻息之發、海底見而地基露兮、

我又見一座大而且白、及居其上者、地與天自其前而遁、不得其所、

耶和華每以所定之杖擊之、人則擊鼓彈琴、彼必揮拳、戰而攻之、

耶和華遲於發怒、具有大能、干罪者決不赦宥、耶和華之道途、在於颶風狂飇、雲為其足下之塵埃、斥海而涸之、竭河而乾之、巴珊迦密衰殘、利巴嫩之榮華凋謝、山嶽因之震動、岡嶺銷鎔、大地世界與居其上者、墳起於其前、厥怒奮發、孰能屹立、孰能當其忿怒之烈、其怒傾洩如火、磐巖為之崩裂、
