People will flee to caves in the rocks and to holes in the ground from the fearful presence of the Lord and the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to shake the earth.

People will run and hide in caves in the rocks. They will go into holes in the ground. They will run away from the terrifying presence of the Lord. They will run when he comes in glory and majesty. When he comes, he will shake the earth.

And people shall enter the caves of the rocks and the holes of the ground, from before the terror of the Lord, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.

When the Lord rises to shake the earth, his enemies will crawl into holes in the ground. They will hide in caves in the rocks from the terror of the Lord and the glory of his majesty.

People will go into caves in the rocks and holes in the ground, away from the terror of the LORD and from his majestic splendor, when he rises to terrify the earth.

就在那时刻，发生了大地震，那城的十分之一倒塌了，在地震中死去的有七千人。其余的人都感到害怕，把荣耀归给天上的神。

随后有闪电、声音和雷鸣，又发生了大地震，自从地上有人以来，没有发生过如此大、如此厉害的地震。

于是他们两人就让非利士的守军看见他们。非利士人说：“看，希伯来人从他们躲藏的洞里出来了！”

以色列人看见形势危急，处境窘迫，军兵就躲藏在洞穴里、丛林中、岩石间、地窖里和坑里。

他们是这世界不配有的。他们在旷野、山岭、岩穴、地洞中漂流无定。

海水啊，你为什么逃跑呢？约旦河啊，你为什么倒流呢？群山哪，你为什么跳跃如公羊呢？冈陵啊，你为什么跳跃如羊羔呢？大地啊，在主的面前，在雅各的神面前，你当震撼！

不过，主的日子要来临，就像贼来临那样。在那日，诸天要轰然一声地消逝，天体将被火焚烧而废除，地和地上的作为也都将被暴露出来。既然这一切都要如此被废除，那么，你们应该做什么样的人呢？应该行为圣洁、敬畏神，等候并催促神的日子来临。因为在那日，诸天将被焚烧而废除，天体要被火焚烧而熔化。但照着他的应许，我们等候着一个新天新地，有公义居住在那里。

耶和华啊，求你在怒气中起来！求你挺身而起对抗我敌人的盛怒，求你为我醒来！你已经下令施行审判。

唯独你是可畏的！你的怒气一旦发作，谁能在你面前站立得住呢？你从天上宣告判决，大地就惧怕，并且缄默；那时神要起来，为要施行公正，为要拯救地上所有的卑微人。细拉

随后，神在天上的圣所开了，他的约柜在他圣所中显现。接着有闪电、声音、雷鸣、地震和大冰雹。

在那些日子里，人们将会求死，却绝不得死；他们渴望死，死却逃避他们。

我又观看，羔羊打开第六个封印的时候，发生了大地震。太阳变黑像粗毛布，整个月亮变得像血。天上的星辰坠落到地上，就像无花果树被大风摇动，落下它未熟的果子那样。天被劈裂，好像书卷被卷起来；一切山岭和海岛也都从原处被挪开了。地上的众君王、大臣、军官、富有的、有权的、所有的奴隶和自由人，都藏在洞穴里和山岭的岩石间。

我在危难中呼求耶和华，我向我的神呼救，他从圣殿中垂听了我的声音，我在他面前的呼救进入他的耳中。那时大地摇撼、震动，群山的根基也颤抖、摇撼，因为他发怒了。浓烟从他的鼻孔上腾，吞噬的烈火从他口中而出，火炭也从他那里燃起。他又使诸天下垂，亲自降临；他的脚下是幽深的黑暗。他乘驾基路伯飞翔，在风的翅膀上翱翔。他以黑暗作他的藏身处，以众水的黑暗、天空的乌云作他四围的帷幕。冰雹和火炭从他面前的光辉中而出，穿过了乌云。耶和华在天上发出雷鸣，至高者发出他的声音，伴随着冰雹和火炭；他发出箭矢，使仇敌四散，发出众多闪电，使他们溃乱。耶和华啊，你斥责一发，你鼻孔的气一出，海底就出现，世界的根基也显露。

接着，我看见一个白色的大宝座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都从他面前逃避，连它们的地方也找不到了。

耶和华施刑的杖每打他们一下，人都会击鼓和弹琴；打仗的时候，耶和华必挥手与他们争战。
