Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, And upon all the oaks of Bashan;

又临到所有高耸挺拔的黎巴嫩香柏树和所有巴珊的橡树，

又臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹和巴珊的橡樹；

臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹、巴珊的橡樹，

臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹、巴珊的橡樹，

祂必毀滅黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹和巴珊的橡樹，

又要攻擊黎巴嫩所有高大的香柏樹，和巴珊所有的橡樹。

要攻擊利巴嫩高而昂的香柏樹，和巴珊的橡樹；

又臨到所有高聳挺拔的黎巴嫩香柏樹和所有巴珊的橡樹，

亦臨及利巴嫩高大之香柏、巴珊之橡樹、

凡利巴嫩干霄之柏香木、巴山之橡樹。

必伐利巴嫩諸高大之柏香木、巴珊之諸橡樹、

for all the cedars of Lebanon, tall and lofty, and all the oaks of Bashan,

The Lord has set that day apart for all the cedar trees in Lebanon. They are very tall. He has set that day apart for all the oak trees in Bashan.

He will cut down the tall cedars of Lebanon and all the mighty oaks of Bashan.

And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, Against all the oaks of Bashan,

and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up, against all the oaks of Bashan,

And upon all the cedars of Lebanon,[ that are] high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

for all the cedars of Lebanon, that are so high and mighty, for all the oaks of Bashan;

for all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, for all the oaks of Bashan,

Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over you, And the cedars of Lebanon, Saying,‘ Since you were cut down, No woodsman has come up against us.’

Open your doors, O Lebanon, That fire may devour your cedars.Wail, O cypress, for the cedar has fallen, Because the mighty trees are ruined. Wail, O oaks of Bashan, For the thick forest has come down.

By your servants you have reproached the Lord, And said,‘ By the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, To the limits of Lebanon; I will cut down its tall cedars And its choice cypress trees; I will enter its farthest height, To its fruitful forest.

Behold, the Lord, The Lord of hosts, Will lop off the bough with terror; Those of high stature will be hewn down, And the haughty will be humbled.He will cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, And Lebanon will fall by the Mighty One.

But I will send a fire upon Judah, And it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.”

Indeed Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon, With fine branches that shaded the forest, And of high stature; And its top was among the thick boughs.The waters made it grow; Underground waters gave it height, With their rivers running around the place where it was planted, And sent out rivulets to all the trees of the field.‘ Therefore its height was exalted above all the trees of the field; Its boughs were multiplied, And its branches became long because of the abundance of water, As it sent them out.All the birds of the heavens made their nests in its boughs; Under its branches all the beasts of the field brought forth their young; And in its shadow all great nations made their home.‘ Thus it was beautiful in greatness and in the length of its branches, Because its roots reached to abundant waters.The cedars in the garden of God could not hide it; The fir trees were not like its boughs, And the chestnut trees were not like its branches; No tree in the garden of God was like it in beauty.I made it beautiful with a multitude of branches, So that all the trees of Eden envied it, That were in the garden of God.’“ Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:‘ Because you have increased in height, and it set its top among the thick boughs, and its heart was lifted up in its height,therefore I will deliver it into the hand of the mighty one of the nations, and he shall surely deal with it; I have driven it out for its wickedness.And aliens, the most terrible of the nations, have cut it down and left it; its branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys; its boughs lie broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the peoples of the earth have gone from under its shadow and left it.
