Go and hide in caves in the rocks, you people! Hide in holes in the ground. Hide from the terrifying presence of the Lord! Hide when he comes in glory and majesty!

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God[ is] terrible majesty.[ Touching] the Almighty, we cannot find him out:[ he is] excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any[ that are] wise of heart.

But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy,[ is] the LORD of hosts: the whole earth[ is] full of his glory.And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.Then said I, Woe[ is] me! for I am undone; because I[ am] a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

But this[ is] a people robbed and spoiled;[ they are] all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

For destruction[ from] God[ was] a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

They were driven forth from among[ men],( they cried after them as[ after] a thief;)To dwell in the clifts of the valleys,[ in] caves of the earth, and[ in] the rocks.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous[ are] thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true[ are] thy ways, thou King of saints.Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for[ thou] only[ art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation[ which] shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?

And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made[ each one] for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel:[ and] because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which[ are] in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.

The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

But the LORD[ is] the true God, he[ is] the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear,[ so is] thy wrath.

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise[ men] of the nations, and in all their kingdoms,[ there is] none like unto thee.

Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
