耶和华显明了他的救恩，在列国眼前显出他的公义。他记念他对以色列家的慈爱和信实，所有的地极都看见我们神的救恩。

你向神许了愿，偿还不可迟延，因为神不喜欢愚昧人；你所许的愿应当偿还。

你们也就像活石，被建造成一座属灵的殿宇，进入圣洁的祭司体系，好藉着耶稣基督献上蒙神悦纳的属灵祭物，

耶和华我们的神哪，现在求你拯救我们脱离亚述王的手，使地上万国都知道，唯独你——你是耶和华！”

这样，你的道路就显明在地上，你的救恩就显明在万国中。

从前，你们不认识神的时候，固然给那些本性上不是神的做了奴仆，但如今，你们认识了神——不过更要说，被神所认识——怎么能再回到那无能、无用的原则里去呢？你们愿意再重新做它们的奴仆吗？

耶稣说：“妇人，你当相信我，时候就要到了！那时你们敬拜父，既不在这山上，也不在耶路撒冷。你们敬拜你们所不认识的；我们却敬拜我们所认识的，因为救恩是出自犹太人的。然而，时候就要到了，现在就是了！那时真正敬拜的人，要在灵里和真理中敬拜父，因为父就是想要这样的人来敬拜他。神是灵，敬拜他的人必须在灵里和真理中敬拜。”

今天耶和华必把你交在我手中，我要击杀你，从你身上砍下你的头。今天我还要把非利士军兵的尸首给天空的飞鸟和地上的野兽。这样全地都会知道：以色列中有一位神；

认识你——独一的真神，并认识你所差派的耶稣基督，这就是永恒的生命。

但你们属于蒙拣选的族类、君王的祭司体系、圣洁的国度，是属神的子民；为要使你们宣扬曾召唤你们的那一位的美德——他召唤你们出黑暗，入他奇妙的光明。

看哪！你将召唤你不认识的国民，而那些不认识你的国民也将向你跑来。这是因耶和华你的神、以色列圣者的缘故，因为他已经使你得荣耀。”
